About 3 months ago, before the first footage, the costume concept renderings, and the first official image, all we had were rumors, and One particular overlooked description of the costume that would soon be donned by Chris Hemsworth as the son of Odin, for Marvel’s much anticipated “THOR” movie.

The source, user ‘IndustryKiller’ from AICN, included in the rundown that Thor was “complete with cape, chain mail arms, and the circles going down the front of the torso”. Now having official material released, that description is clearly spot on. ‘IndustryKiller' sources his matrial by saying, "When you live in LA (stuff) just floats around. You have friends working on this or that or whatever. You don't have to be a mover and shaker to see stuff".

Well ‘IndustryKiller’, seemed very amenable in sharing everything he saw, with the other members of the site. With this too being overlooked, for three months. IndustryKiller gave somewhat of a description of the supporting actors in costume as Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg, together the "Warriors Three".

On Joshua Dallas in costume as Fandral "the Dashing", ‘IndustryKiller’ says...
Fandral was dressed straight up Errol FLynn. A dark greenish blue, if I recall correctly, but it's some kind of blue hue color scheme. (Like Thor) he also has a cape and long sleeves. His hair is blonde like the comic and he also has the classic swashbuckler facial hair.

On Tadanobu Asano in costume as Hogun "the Grim"
Hogun (was) straight up Mongol, a dark blue (color scheme), whose armor has an almost samurai hint to it but there are no hanging cloths or leather like the comic. I didn't see a mongul helmet either as he had pulled back kind of samurai looking hair, nor does he have facial hair.

On Ray Stevenson in costume as Volstagg "the Valiant"
Volstagg, is a taller Ray Stevenson complete with fake fat suit and long ginger hair and beard, he looks pretty awesome. His suit is a maroonish red and it looks a little more like armor than the other two.

Additionally, 'IndustryKiller' includes that "The costumes are fairly complex and detailed. (They're) a little less traditional to their individual backgrounds than the comic. The motif of (all the Asgardian) suits aren't going for any kind of ACTUAL viking realism but is very skewed into the realm of the comic book world it represents, almost sort of futuristic with an old world Norse flair. They are fairly over the top compared to say, the "realism" of the X-Men wearing leather jumpsuits. Then again, I guess I'm just a comic book fan like that. (Overall) They are as accurate a representation of the source material as we were ever going to get."

DCMF: So what do you think, if this is in fact true, can you visualize what are Warriors Three will look like on the big screen? While an official picture would obviously help, San Diego Comic-Con is coming up soon. And Marvel is expected to deliver actually footage, and hopefully we can get at least a glimpse of what the "three" will look.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, "THOR" hits theaters May 6, 2011!
