New Captain America Filming Location in Scotland Revealed
Exclusive info reveals a new filming location for the Joe Johnston-directed Captain America: The First Avenger movie, that could possibly include the Red Skull. Check it out!

Since the production crew wrapped shooting in U.K. cities Manchester & Liverpool, set photos and reports for the much-anticipated Captain America movie, that were once pouring in, have now subsided. And that cause may be of Joe Johnston now directing indoors, at Pinewood Studios where they reportedly built an entire street for a sequence.
Before the crew heads back outdoors south Caerwent, Wales later this month, sources tell me that camera tracks are currently being lied down in a light-populated village called Culross, located in Fife, Scotland. And presumably to not cause any disturbance, half the village were offered a weekend stay at a hotel.
Being that filming at the location is set for next week, my source says hes unsure what the crew will film, but the setting will be in Norway. And he also mentions that he heard through the grapevine that Samuel l. Jackson (Nick Fury) will be there, but is uncertain of that as well. With a Norway setting, I have an idea of what the scene(s) could be connected with.
At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel presented footage for The First Avenger, which non-attendees only had descriptions & audio (embed left below) of. The raw footage, which involved Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) on a mission to find the "Jewel of Odin’s treasure room"; the Cosmic Cube, was set in Norway, May 1942. So for now we can only assume the scenes to be filmed in Culross village, would coincide with that scene.
Anyhow, another source told me that a carnival sequence will be filmed in November, believed to be the Stark Expo hosted by Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). And with Chris Evans set to lead as Captain America: The First Avenger, the film opens in theaters July 22, 2011 in 3D.
