Official Scream 4 Subtitle, Teaser Trailer, New Images, and Character Details Revealed!

The teaser trailer for Wes Craven's return to Woodsboro, which according to Dewey (David Arquette) is the official Scream 4 subtitle, premiered at the Scream Awards just minutes ago. While we can catch it officially Tuesday on SpikeTV, Wes Craven and cast members Neve Campbell & Courtney Cox, recently talked with Entertainment Weekly, sharing more details on their characters.

Neve Campbell says "She ends the book tour with going to Woodsboro and there she finds her cousin [Emma Roberts] and her aunt [Mary McDonnell] and some friends and trouble ensues."

Courteney Cox says, "Gale and Dewey have been married for 10 years, and I kinda gave up my job as the entertainment journalist. I've written six books, but now I have major writer's block. I'm bored with my life and bored with my marriage and bored with the silly small town of Woodsboro. It's actually the anniversary of the first killing in Woodsboro. When she arrives to promote her book, things start happening, and I couldn't be more thrilled."

And Craven added that, "the first [Scream] was very much observing where horror had been for the last 10 to 20 years. And this is very much looking at where horror has been for the last 10 years. There's always somebody trying to figure out what the rules are to keep from getting killed."

Well I´m looking forward to the new movie, the young cast seems a little idiot but well lets wait to see, the subtitle also sounds stupid, and I liked that trailer you posted @DCMF, prolly a fan made, but very well done. Looking forward to the scream awards footage!

man, ive always loved the scream franchise. if im corrected,when i turned 2 years old, in 97, the 1st horror movies i ever saw were the exorcist,scream # 1 & scream #2.

@yossarian I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was adapted into a graphic novel. I'm just so hyped for this movie!

@yossarian, i don't think there is a comic of scream (the movie), but there are a few comics that are named scream. Just google 'Scream' and 'comic' ;).Simple as that.
Anywho, thanks for the update Freshman, i for one are gonna see this movie. It will probably suck though :P.

Ive been asking myself the same question, how is all this cbm news? First it was photos from the set of hangover 2, then it was the promo for back to the future at the scream awards( witch I get for the scifi aspect of the film). But this I dont get it, how is this and hangover 2 cbm news?

Now im really confusewd cause i couldve sworn I saw this EXACT TRAILER a couple weeks ago, with the same characters and everything. But heres where im really confused, it was posted a year ago on youtube, so WTF?!!!? the only thing different was the ending part.

I think it's related because this was from the Scream Awards, which is meant to honor the horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and comic book genres. I guess that makes this related then. I don't know.
