RUMOR: First X-Men: First Class Trailer Details!

Supposedly, the first trailer for Fox's X-Men: First Class was screened to a "special" crowd, which you can read one of their descriptions after the jump. Check it Out!

Five months away from it's release, the much-skeptical X-Men: First Class film has yet to be advertised, other than interviews with the cast. And while the reason falls behind 20th Century Fox, many have been urning for a teaser trailer, or anything official for the Matthew Vaughn-directed prequel. Supposedly, Chris Lee(?) saw the first theatrical trailer, with it's description below.

The trailer opens with the 20th Century Fox logo which pans up as the two spotlight beams cross and form a white "X" on the left of the screen. A white circle goes around the "X" forming the X-Men logo, as Magneto's helmet comes up on the right.

Patrick Stewart and Ian Mckellan voice over the opening lines about destiny and which side will you stand for as scenes of each in their previous X-Men movie roles flash until the entire screen flashes from white to black.

A very young Xavier and Erik meet for the first time, followed by a different angle of the scene from the opening of X-Men in the concentration camp.

Camera pans outside of an old castle-style building that greatly resembles the X-mansion. McAvoy and Fassbender are seen walking through the halls. The words "One wanted peace" flash by Xavier.

Scene transitions to Erik yelling dramatically as metal tables in the room begin to float around him. Xavier and Mags shake hands with a tall man in a lab coat introduced as Dr. McCoy.

The words "The other was too far gone" flash as a very pissed off Erik storms through a hallway killing guards as he passes them.

Cut scene to what appears to be a red Nightcrawler with swords taking out a room full of people; the close up reveals Azazel's face.

The Hellfire Club stand next to Xavier on a bed as Emma goes into diamond form. Olver Platt and Kevin Bacon were next to Emma in black aristocratic clothes, with Emma wearing the exact same outfit from the Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon.

Mystigue on a bed with her skin turning black; Beast is shown transforming, with his feet growing and toes webbing and fur growing.

Havok shoot a red beam of energy (looks almost exactly like cyclops's eye beam, but larger) from his chest (SIDE NOTE: Havok's powers in comics have always had a blue energy).

It then shows Beast all blue and furry (looking almost exactly like Kelsey Grammer in make-up) in the pilot seat of a crashing jet, followed by several rockets flying towards an island.

Xavier's face goes all CGI and his head begins to go bald as he mentally pulls a large ship that was sinking out of the water, as well as some smaller boats around it (he's telekinetic now?).

Back to Xavier (with hair) telling Erik he only wanted peace for him, and he replies there was never a chance for anyone to have that.

Final scene: Erik picks up a black helmet, then he is shown from behind wearing a black and red suit (no cape or coat though) and the helmet. Screen cuts to black and the X-Men: First Class logo shows up (the one described above), then the release date.

Take this with a grain of salt, as of now. In the meantime, X-Men: First Class hits theaters June 3, this year. And it's speculated that a Superbowl spot is granted. What do you think?

This seems like an unconventional teaser trailer. Weird choice of footage to show.

Also, what "special crowd"?
boredsox78 - 1/8/2011, 8:40 PM
if this is true, thats a pretty awesome teaser trailer! hopefully we'll be able to see this teaser soon enough!
Ironbat95 - 1/8/2011, 8:42 PM
What if the prequel had Patrick Stewart and Ian Mckellen do bookends and they are narrating and telling the story

That would be awesome!

@Gaston: Even though I'm skeptical about this movie.

They'll probably treat them as two different characters...since Emma in Origins was only referred to as Kayla's Sister Emma in the credits....so that's an easy retcon.

A good retcon at that IMO.
THEPHOENIX - 1/8/2011, 9:00 PM
Gaston! How dare you bring continuity into this film
Jables - 1/8/2011, 9:03 PM
hmmm.. doesnt sound very legit
bleedthefreak - 1/8/2011, 9:03 PM

bleedthefreak - 1/8/2011, 9:09 PM

dahamma - 1/8/2011, 9:13 PM
doesn't sound so good to me. i gave up on the X films
darthbobtarkas - 1/8/2011, 9:15 PM
Borigins is the movie that should be left out of continuity. Someone should castrate the genius who made sewed Deadpool's mouth together. As for thios trailer, it sounds [frick]ing sick...hopefully i can say the same about the movie. "YOU WILL HAVE MY BABY!"
Ironbat95 - 1/8/2011, 9:18 PM
@Hamm will we be seeing a Captain america spot
KidGoku - 1/8/2011, 9:20 PM
Hmmm, seems real interesting... the only thing about this that I'm not liking is that it seems that Xavier is telekinetic now...
StingrayX - 1/8/2011, 9:21 PM
Maybe the trailer will show during the Super Bowl!
Dusk - 1/8/2011, 9:32 PM
Since when is Beast tall? Since when are his feet webbed? Since when does Havoc shoot red energy out of his body? Since when is Xavier telekinetic?! GAY
jbak368 - 1/8/2011, 9:34 PM
In the Wolverine Origins video game, don't they kind of say that Wraith is Nightcrawler's dad in this universe? I guess the game probably isn't considered in-continuity, which is kind of a shame since it whoops the movie's ass.
bleedthefreak - 1/8/2011, 9:42 PM
well cool stuff Hamm3rtym3 hope this shows up online soon.
EditNinja - 1/8/2011, 9:52 PM
Sounds cool to me, despite all the retconning and modifying of the traditional source material.

I just want to see January Jones as Emma Frost.
EditNinja - 1/8/2011, 9:59 PM
Looks like silverlightsaber plotted a similar trailer/teaser:

joekerr93 - 1/8/2011, 10:09 PM
the only thing that really sticks out to me as possibly being fake, other than the obvious skepticism is the phrase: "one was too far gone" it sounds way to informal and casual to me
GusGalaxy - 1/8/2011, 10:49 PM
sounds like a good trailer! i just wanna see another x-men movie, this is gonna be awesome!
IronicMan - 1/8/2011, 10:52 PM
This sounds more like comic-con footage style, instead of a tight, polished trailer. Still, majorly looking forward to this film.
HATERS GON HATE, MCAVOY'S GON MCAVOY!!

Im pretty suprised all you people are buying into this shit. This 'trailer' sounds like its written by a 10 yr old, which Hamm very well may be. This isn't far from the wolverine and cyclops fan fiction rob posted on TR a while back. Hamm I hope you didn't make this up yourself cuz its a tasteless piece of crap.

ecksmanfan - 1/9/2011, 1:12 AM
Meh. Not really enough for me to pass judgement. A few things up there caught my eye, the main one being that Dr. McCoy is a tall man. The actor playing him is rather youngish. Not a child by any means, but I wouldn't describe him as a tall main.

I still think this will be a watchable film. Great director, great cast, cool (all be it random) characters. It may not be a great X-Men movie, but I'm sure it will be entertaining to watch. I'm not afraid to admit that I'll be towards the front of the line when this one releases.

Exiles - 1/9/2011, 4:56 AM
I'll wait till I see the trailer before I make my mind up. my only problem with this movie and probably the biggest problem I have with this movie is the use of first class, in the title. when this just the origin story of prof x and magneto. They should have just simply called X-Men origins or something else. But I probably will check this out since there some good talent involved in this movie. Plus my favourite director vaughn is making this movie so hopefully its entertaining
