Even More Captain America Images Revealed in Empire Magazine

Check out various new scans for Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger movie, unveiled from Empire magazine including the first look at Tommy Lee Jones's 'Col. Philips'.

Inside the latest issue of Empire Magazine, which covered Chris Evans, also are various new images including ones of Evans, Hayley Atwell(Peggy Carter), Richard Armitage (Heinz Kruger), Natalie Dormer (Private Lorraine), and the first look at Tommy Lee Jones. (Col. Chester Phillips) in Captain America: The First Avenger.

While High-quality versions of these stills aren't guaranteed, a one-sheet poster Friday & Tv spot during the 45th annual Super Bowl, Sunday, are. And Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters July 22, in 3D!

Quick question though-- In the fourth picture down, the caption off to the right says that the picture below is of Red Skull with the Cosmic Cube. Where are they hiding that?

Great stuff MF, I was gonn ahead out and buy this issue today to see if there were any new pics! I think they might have some new X-Men stuff too though so keep an eye out.

they've got x-men photos but its stuff we've already seen.

the bit i liked when empire said that they've seen production art that had captain america fighting the red skull with planes in battle in the background.

wow that last image of cap just look awesome and the first one seems like he just beat the F out of loads of people

or it could be of the last scene in the movie where the plane blows up and he gets frozen either way this is sweet

These are some really fantastic pictures...the first one is especially intriguing! Regardless, I'm now convinced that this will be the best CBM of 2011! Great find DCMF! :)

I don't like the gray and brown, personally. But otherwise I totaly love this costume.

I'm glad they covered his ears. Who wants to fire a gun without ear protection?? Owie!

These pics look really good. Chris looks to be doing suprisingly well (especially since it is Marvel's plan to have him grow into the role over the years). Seems like he is getting a good start.

the more i see the suit, the less i like it. i'm not digging the shoulder and abdominal pads. maybe its purpose is protection but it just looks cheesy. hopefully it will translate much better on film. call me crazy but i'd rather see a somewhat modernized version of the typical cap suit, even though it would probably look cheesy as well.

Aiya I agree with u man no where close to the concept art it might be a ok film but I'm not geting hype over some pic I want to see the trailer then I ll be ok with the movie but for right now I'm not.

How people can be upset with the suit is beyond me. It looks fantastic! Warner Bros did the SAME thing with the Batman costume and nobody is complaining about that!
