In chatting exclusively with Comicus, actor & stuntman Troy Brenna, whose portraying a SHIELD Agent & presumably a Frost Giant in Marvel & Kenneth Branagh's epic tale of THOR, speaks on his role, the overall experience, and his director's impressions.

On how he joined the cast...
"How did I get into Thor's Cast:I was asked to come in as a stunt performer because of my size (6'9", 275lbs). After rehearsing for a couple weeks, I received a call to go in and read for a part in the movie. One week after auditioning for Kale, I got a call from Randi Hiller, the casting director. She told me over the phone that I got the part as Kale."

On the time devoted to the movie...
"I began working on Thor in October of 09. We continued to do pick up shots and reshoots all the way until just recently, Feb. 2011."

On impressions of director Kenneth Brangh...
"I personally loved the way Kenneth Branagh directed all the actors. He had such passion and understanding of what a performer goes through moments before the call of "action". He was extremely patient and not overbearing like so many directors can be. Just a true professional."

On his role's level of interaction with the principal cast..
"Most of my interaction with other actors were to fight them. I basically got my ass kicked by most of the cast."

On working Oscar Winning Natalie Portman, if so...
"I unfortunately did not have any scenes with Natalie Portman, but from what I hear she is a gem to work with. I did however work with the other Oscar Award winning actor, Anthony Hopkins. What a true gentleman."

On instructions given before camera rolled...
"Most of the instruction given to me were to be large, intimidating and very aggressive. "

On future projects...
"I just finished working on the pilot for "Wonder Woman". Once again I get my but kicked by another woman. I am now getting ready to leave shortly for New Mexico to start filming "The Avengers". Looking forward to putting another Marvel Comics movie under my belt."
