cwell510 - 12/30/2011, 9:08 AM
Hopefully Slurpee will make Avengers cups this time around since they missed the boat with Captain America. I've collected the rest of the Avengers members except for Cap who was left out for no reason this year.
GUNSMITH - 12/30/2011, 9:08 AM
NO LONGER USING CRYSTALIC FUSION AND NOW UTILIZING REPULSOR TECHNOLOGY POWERED BY NEW ELEMENT.

NeoBaggins - 12/30/2011, 10:19 AM
This MARVEL film is going to put their other 7ELEVEN Slurpee straw/cup campaign to shame. They have to do one for each character and villains too.
Supes17 - 12/30/2011, 10:23 AM
Ok Marvel, I got the message...You want money:p

And you'll get it
NeoBaggins - 12/30/2011, 10:23 AM
Ima get the skateboard and the helmet. Then ima fall on my ass and then... BAM! Ass donut to sit on. All matching Avengers set. Sex with a woman won't be in the cards but the merch will match. Shnoogans.

aRandomSinisterClone - 12/30/2011, 10:26 AM
How Disney of Marvel... More worried bout getting shitty merchandise out there before any actual photos. Hulk still looks like shit. 2012s green lantern suit all over again.
bbarber2323 - 12/30/2011, 10:32 AM
So this "illwill" clown is trying to be the next Grif? How sad this guys life must be. And to top it off,ur on a website devoted to superheroes, and this guy decideds to look up to a troll?? Illwill,u need to channel ur inner 8yr old and pick a new role model. Being a douche bag will NOT get you a job, friends, vagina, etc. Or do us all a favor and take a dirt nap.
XK1D - 12/30/2011, 10:45 AM

ScionStorm - 12/30/2011, 11:34 AM
They all have freaky bug eyes . . .
TimelessUnknown - 12/30/2011, 12:35 PM
Silly Illwill, you should know better than to give your opinion about or say anything negative about The Avengers on this site.
DocDrop - 12/30/2011, 12:52 PM
Nothing wrong with merchandising for kids. It's a freakin comic book movie with green men, people who can fly, and shoot lazers & such.
126thst - 12/30/2011, 12:52 PM
This is what happens when you sell your company to Disney. Maybe if you're 12 this will appeal to you..
sarahsatire - 12/30/2011, 1:27 PM
@126thst Exactly. This is for kids. I love the Avengers, and I still wouldn't be interested in any of this (even as a collector).. but you better believe that there will be budding CBM enthusiasts that will ask their moms for this kind of merchandise.
thewolfx - 12/30/2011, 1:54 PM
oh god its like one thing on each one of there suits i would change

[frick] is wrong with hollywood ??
rottencotten - 12/30/2011, 2:13 PM
First off- Mark Ruffalo's look is coming out more in the Hulk and it looks pretty well done...

Second- that Buzzman is awesome, and I would actually buy that lol
Altair - 12/30/2011, 3:14 PM
Ha! It's kinda funny. Last year at this time, Xmen First Class was gonna bomb, Thor was for kiddies, we were hesitant for Captain America, and Green Lantern was gonna rule the box office and was gonna have good effects, a good cast, and reinvent DC filmmaking.

Watch Avengers blow every single one of you away.

@Timeless Unknown

Yeah, cause Nolanites never do that. Course not.
CaptainJackSpareribs - 12/30/2011, 3:37 PM
This reminds me of Mad Magazines parody of the first X-Men movie (2000). When it came to the part where the X-Men left the Westchester, NY mansion in the plane to get to the Statue of Liberty, the panel showed the jet flying through the air and Cyclops saying "Even though Manhattan is a only a little bit aways by car, we'll take the jet - WE'VE GOTTA SELL THOSE TOYS!"
TimelessUnknown - 12/30/2011, 4:00 PM
@Altair, Never said they didn't. Just saying it like it is.
DioFoRio - 12/30/2011, 6:35 PM
how dare marvel sell merch!??!?!? it must be Disney involvement!!!They never sold toys, or games, or stuffed animals, or had an amusement park, or a restaurant. LoL. you trolls are reaching...when you should be reaching for a gym membership or a personality. LoL.
Daniellantern - 12/30/2011, 6:54 PM
Kinda remind me to GL promotion way.

The last pic, in promo art all of them looks buff and bulkier. Especially Chris Evans, i hope we can see that muscle in the movie.
SageMode - 12/30/2011, 7:34 PM
@IllWill:

"Lmao wow Marvel is really something else, all the want to do is sell toys n merchandise how bout making a good quality movie 4 once, try not using shitty kid 3d n instead IMAX, and how bout releasing another trailer so we don't have to watch shit in Russian or German to see something new"

Its called marketing, something that DC seems to have sucked at lately.
Pretty sure Marvel has in mind that these are intended for little kids, so whats the big "shock value"? You sure do love to troll Avengers articles with your inconsequential tirades, dontcha? well, when the Avengers does better than Bringing Chaos the Gotham part 3 (aka TDKR), then we'll see who's making the jokes then buddy. hahahahahahaha (Vincent Price evil laugh)
JayOh - 12/30/2011, 8:34 PM
The merchandising isn't a problem for me I mean why wouldn't they? I have a problem with how much cooler Cap's cowl looks in the merchandising photos and promo art with the exposed ears. Much cooler than the actual movie cowl.
SageMode - 12/30/2011, 9:41 PM

I think Cap will have two "masks". If you noticed in some of the screenshots and in the trailers, there's shot of what seems to be a mask that pulled back on his neck like a hood. Then there the helmet.
