THE AVENGERS 'We Are At War' TV Ad Officially Hits!

Hit the jump and check it out the most recent TV spot in high definition, which aired during yesterday's Kids Choice Awards, in anticipation for Marvel's The Avengers superhero assembly!

During the 2012 Kids Choice Awards last night, a brand new television spot for Marvel's The Avengers debuted, featuring even more footage. Although we were fortunate to have a low-quality version up immediately after, the 'We Are At War' ad has been officially released. Teasing the Hulk's transformation, check it out in HD below!



Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

Scarlet Johanson saying ''yup, it's gonna be fun'' simply sucks. Her voice is heavy, her facial characteristics are terrible for an action heroine, and her being cast as Black Widow in Iron Man 2 was a mistake (as the movie itself), that shouldn't have been repeated.

At least they recast Hulk, but they should have propably done the same with Widow too.

Black Widow's line was STUPID. She's not Tony Stark & funny she's supposed to be serious all the time like she has a stick in her ass. I REALLY hope this movie isnt over the top w/ comedic laughs or it's gonna be comparable to IM2 & TF2...The only person who should be funny is RDJ

Yes but it's only a line from TV Spot, don't be angry for that Hulk avatar.
Josh is very not Bay, Avengers will be not like TF2, hope.
For funny, Thor can be sometimes; so not only Tony Stark.

Went to youtube, played better, think I see what you guys mean. Hard too tell, but yah didn't seem like her gun. Glad, i really was hoping she use her Stings in IM2 but, hey the Avengers just keeps looking better and better.

What sucks is that here in the UK,
they play the Avengers trailer straight after the Battleship trailer and they literally look the same. Or a 'before and after' anyway.

Film look amazing. Not sure why there is this small, enraged contingent of tiny dancers pulling there hair because of one line of dialog from a 2 1/2 hour movie.

It doesn't look like she's doing her stings in this trailer. She definitely looks like she's holding a rifle-esqe laser gun.

I'm assuming that she just picked up an alien gun and is using it.

Awesome spot. Widow's line was dumb though. Her character doesn't seem like she'd say something like that. Nothin I'm freaking out over.

The dialogue is fun. It's not biblical or shakespearean in any way. Whedon's written like a comic book.

@AsianVersionOFET Care to explain why? I understand that your intention is simply to incite outrage at your public dismissal of one of the most anticipated films of the year, but us mature folk would much rather have a civilised discussion on the strengths and weaknesses of this 30 second tv-spot.

I love the Hulk's yell in this one it reminds me of my favorite moment in The Incredible Hulk move when he screem's at everybody. Question, has any body noticed in all these TV spots there is very little big time Thor clips. I hope they don't write my favorite Avenger out of this film.
