Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

Joss looks like he's holding that bow upside down.... I dig all these pics though. Good seeing Nick in action.

Now let's see Cap frozen... in Carbonite.
NerdyGeek - 4/26/2012, 12:49 PM
Just saw the film. Greatest CBM ever made
PeterParker1991 - 4/26/2012, 12:54 PM
Nick Fury looks pretty bad ass. Loki is awesome as is Hulk. Can't wait for this.
SuperSoldier004 - 4/26/2012, 12:55 PM
I don't think the part where caps in that ally way is used in the movie.
Fogs - 4/26/2012, 1:05 PM
Nice, Whedon loves comicbooks, you can see it in those pics of him holding the bow, the shield the way he imagines, straight from the pages of a comic... That's so cool!
imnotahero - 4/26/2012, 1:10 PM

Just a couple more set pics and I can make a whole team...
santoanderson - 4/26/2012, 1:24 PM
God, why the hell do I need to wait another week and a half to see this movie?
jazzman - 4/26/2012, 1:24 PM
OMFG Nick Fury kicking ass.

u know WB must be kicking themselves for not letting Joss Whedon do the Wonder Woman movie LOL
TheMyth - 4/26/2012, 1:53 PM
Kanevondoom, lol it looks that way because he is. Good observation, I was reading to see if anyone noticed that.
THORION76 - 4/26/2012, 2:00 PM

skidz - 4/26/2012, 2:02 PM
It may just be me, but Loki seems a little upset.
Dickel - 4/26/2012, 2:07 PM
Saw this almost 24 hours ago and I can't stop thinking about it! (That rarely happens for ANY movie, let alone a CBM)
pintoman - 4/26/2012, 2:09 PM
Too late and perhaps nit-picking, but I think it would have been better to not have cap to crash and be frozen at the the end of his film. Especially since it appears they are still going back to the issue here. We all know he's frozen at some point and heads the avengers...would have been cool watching cap 2 wondering if he would be frozen—and then cap 3 knowing he would, somehow. They could have worked on the relationship with Peggy more in Cap 2.
Gerrit - 4/26/2012, 2:10 PM
Just a few more hours, just a few more hours. I can't bellieve I'm actually watching this tonight! When I take a moment to think about it I get a headache. It's just too much awesomeness.
Dev7 - 4/26/2012, 2:13 PM
To me that hulk still looks fake looking. But I'm sure the movie will be good otherwise.
BooYah - 4/26/2012, 2:19 PM
@Wilddaniel- That first Cap pic is straight out of the comics. Well except it was Iron Man, Wasp, and Ant-Man that defrosted Cap.
vtopa - 4/26/2012, 2:21 PM
