Dope. I'm down. The holiday season vibe is something I really dig about Shane Black's movies. Can't wait to see what this means for Iron Man. Still, I hope this doesn't mean Shane's gonna recreate the franchise in his own image...

Awesome. Our first Christmas-set super hero movie since Batman Returns. I love Shane Black.

@Durf: Yeah you can't trust Santa, he has a secret headquarters in the Arctic, he has an army of elves that he uses for slave labour and he apparently monitors the behaviour of everyone on Earth.

Plus he can travel all over the entire planet in a few hours. Sounds like a super villain to me :P

I wonder how far of a jump they go from the Avengers to IM3? I kind of wanted to see the immediate fallout and world reaction to Earth being saved from Aliens at the hands of a green monster, a hero that was supposed dead, a Norse god, and Tony Stark!

with iron man 3 being set at christmas maybe it should swap release dates with thor 2.

why is Iron Man 3 being set at Christmas with a June release date, while Thor 2 is scheduled for a November release and likely won't be set during any Holiday?

Iron Man and winter.

Great idea!... I hope. :)

Mandarin is gonna steal Christmas and Iron Man has to stop him and his minions.

"The Avengers are the Super Friends rejects" - not me, that's what my coworker said.

Please give me intelligent ammo for him to consider.

Sorry, had to find the latest Avengers-related post!
