Dragon Models and DART (Dragon Advanced Research & Technology) are excited to introduce our latest innovation in 3D technology, Marvel Avengers “Action Hero Vignettes” in 1/9 scale. Pre-painted and with just the snap of a few parts, you can have a highly detailed desktop display of your favorite Avenger!

A hybrid between a display figure and a kit, Dragon brings you the best of both worlds. The use of model kit techniques allow us reproduce the intricate details and sharp lines to maximize the usage of the official 3D character scans. The use of the static display concept ensures that there are no cooling lines on the torsos and no visible ball joints that are prominent in most “action” figures. Additionally, the figures are set in a Marvel suggested pose so that the body portions won’t be deformed when the poses are changed.

Each Vignette comes pre-colored, unassembled, and includes a diorama display base. First up in our Marvel Avengers lineup is Iron Man Mark VII with many more to come!

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

No articulation, no purchase, lol. If it was a higher, more attention to detailed statue I'd buy it, but these are mediocre.
JDUKE25 - 6/10/2012, 12:23 PM
They would look good on a birthday cake.
SeaSerpentine - 6/10/2012, 12:29 PM

Why couldn't Thor just have been holding Mjolnir up and catching that lightning? The pose is all akward, and I agree... the face looks like HHH...
GUNSMITH - 6/11/2012, 2:26 AM
jj2112 - 6/11/2012, 3:06 AM

PersonaPostOvo - 6/11/2012, 7:11 AM
Captain looks so great!!
GreenJeans - 6/11/2012, 3:11 PM
Captain America is absolutely perfectly detailed. Iron Man is absolutely spot on perfection. The Hulk is easily one of the best Hulk statues I have ever laid eyes upon and is a perfect rendition of the movie version. Thor's pose and body is perfect but as already stated, something is slightly amiss with his face.
