IRON MAN 3 Poster Spotted At Licensing Expo 2012

Teasing the Armored Avenger's new armor for his third solo outing, the first promo Iron Man 3 poster for the Shane Black-directed installment has been spotted at the '12 Licensing Expo!

The annual Licensing Expo has kicked off today in Las Vegas, and ComingSoon.net has expectedly spotted movie promotion underway. And among things spotted, the very first promotional poster for Marvel Studios' first 'Phase two' installment, Shane Black's Iron Man 3. With the title treatment seemingly confirming a previously-seen promo banner, also pictured below, the poster further teases the armored avenger's new armor.





Described as a “technological crisis thriller,” set in the world of international war, arms & terror, Marvel Studios' “Iron Man 3” stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Andy Lau, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale, with Sir Ben Kingsley and Jon Favreau. Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) takes over directorial duties from Jon Favreau, who helmed the first two “Iron Man” films. Principal photography will occur primarily in North Carolina and China. And “Iron Man 3” is set for release in May 3, 2013.

I'm really not sure about the new suit but I trust Shane Black! And plus we haven't seen it in action yet so it would be harsh to judge

As of right now, I'm very hyped and excited for this film. This film will be the crown jewel of the Iron-Man trilogy. IM3 FTW, baby!!! :D

yeah spidey Avenger's was Mk VII making this 8 (although I'd not be surprised if 8 was actually a subtle re-design of the Avengers armour, like the 4 was in the second film - making this Mk 9)

I'm enjoying the Iron Man books but I'm not a fan of the Bleeding Edge Armor. To me it's way more out there than the Extremis one.

Hopefully theyll blend the extremis (nano tech oragnic cyborg Iron man) and the look of the bleeding edge armor.

not sure how i feel about them adding more gold. i love the Avengers Mark VII suit and i feel like they're going the Batman route with them changing the suit every movie. yeah i know the suit is constantly evolving and being upgraded be geez how much more can he do? the banner is better than the poster.

I'm saying Bleeding Edge armor 'cause it's pretty similar to the Extremis armor, except that the BE armor is more modern and has that edgy look to it. That's what I think.




Aldrich Killian will definitley be the primary villian, and I'm guessing that the one who is funding his research for this 'virus' is the Mandarin. So, in a way, I think, the Mandarin is kind of like a 'Professor Moriarty' kind of character. The brains behind the project. The mastermind of it all. :)
