Once again thanking Sutherland Shire for allowing Fox to film his X-Men: Origins sequel, The Wolverine, actor Hugh Jackman displayed his new look, facially, for the film sans the unbreakable claws. Also sharing with the Leader a downside to playing the mutant, in regards to filming, check out the photos and what he says below.

Dressed & made up as his character Logan, the actor personally thanked mayor Carol Provan:

“It’s a beautiful spot here. This is the first time I’ve been to Kurnell and the location is great. Yesterday I was up at half past three and this morning I was up at quarter to five. They got to do some shots without me this morning, so I got a bit of a sleep in. This is the second and final day of shooting on-site at Kurnell. Production for the film will continue around Sydney and a few weeks in Japan before it wraps up mid-November.”

TheDARKestKNIGHT - 8/1/2012, 11:22 PM
@MrCool210 how does it "look cool" he looks the same.

Happy about the Japan story line (my favorite wolvy story) but I'm ready for a shorter, stockier, more comic book accurate looking actor to take on the role.
Screwger - 8/1/2012, 11:25 PM
I liked shorter hairs looks kinda old man Logan type or another comics that I forget.
halik - 8/1/2012, 11:30 PM
@JayOh While I agree with you it's amazing you quoted someone whom you can see on the same page whom only typed two words and you got both wrong.
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 8/1/2012, 11:36 PM
You're right but get off my dick @halik
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 8/1/2012, 11:37 PM
Somebody get Tom Hardy in this role. He can beef up and is only like 5' 9" / 5' 10". If he hunches a little like Logan it'd be perfect.
TheAntiGrif - 8/1/2012, 11:39 PM
i kinda prefer the hair he had in the X-Men movies but they could've increased the height of them. its definetly a new hairstyle for logan
AmazingFantasy - 8/1/2012, 11:41 PM
Like it.
Vegeta - 8/1/2012, 11:53 PM

fosterine - 8/1/2012, 11:54 PM

redsoxdude - 8/1/2012, 11:57 PM
Freaking work blocking everything!!! ARRGHH Guess i'll see it when i get home or wake up tomorrow evening.
CaptainAmerica31 - 8/1/2012, 11:58 PM
Cool, honestly I can't see anyone else being wolverine other than jackman, guys dedicated.
YOUNGBL00D - 8/2/2012, 12:07 AM
Is everyone on here adults
LAWLZY96 - 8/2/2012, 12:10 AM

micvalpro - 8/2/2012, 12:12 AM
umm wtf is up with that hair? seriously? He just de evolves as wolverine with each movie that passes.
YOUNGBL00D - 8/2/2012, 12:13 AM
It's okay if you don't wanna answer it just seems strange some times, coming on here, talking about their wives, and how they're at their jobs and stuff, just got me thinking...........................................
eoin3 - 8/2/2012, 12:15 AM
If the timeline is WW2 it stands to reason that his hair would be military short, right...?
micvalpro - 8/2/2012, 12:19 AM
I'm wondering if Origins counts now cause if its ww2 then that means its a prequel to Origins which had flashbacks of ww2 in which he had much longer hair...ugh. I hate this xmen universe now
micvalpro - 8/2/2012, 12:20 AM
I want to see Wolverine from the first Xmen movie where he was all animalistic and his mutton chops were alot longer and made him look alot scruffier and more like an animal.
sameoldthing - 8/2/2012, 12:21 AM
Jackman is a cool mo-fo...makes a great Logan.
It matters not two shits how tall he is,guy is a good actor & is in great shape.
Tom Hardy wasn't big enough for Bane but he pulled it off.
Jackman likes the character of Wolverine & likes the fans of Wolverine.
Tony93 - 8/2/2012, 12:25 AM
Hm maybe just a. Bit longer.. Doesn't really look like wolverine more like Hugh lol but I'll have to see how it looks on film first to decide if I really like it or not
redsoxdude - 8/2/2012, 12:28 AM
Youngblood guess you were talking to me? Guess i would say yes haha.
I cannot see any of the pictures posted that's why i was angry.

I agree with the others. Jackman is really dedicated to Wolverine. He loves the character.
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 8/2/2012, 12:28 AM
Ok let's be clear Tom Hardy DID NOT pull off bane. The way they kept the camera close to not show his height or the way they did certain shots to make him look taller than others was SO obvious!
SunSp0t - 8/2/2012, 12:31 AM
After the first film I am not looking forward to this at all. But I will wait until reviews come out to voice my opinion.
HULK2099 - 8/2/2012, 12:44 AM
I like the Hair
Maxi91291 - 8/2/2012, 12:51 AM
jimoakley666 - 8/2/2012, 12:55 AM
It's like the shorter style he had in First Class. Maybe it's because he had his hair cropped shorter when he was in the army. I like it.

I'm the biggest fan of Wolverine, and at first I was a bit worried by Hugh's height. And then I saw the first X-Men film. Yeah, this dude was born to play Logan.
ThatOneDude - 8/2/2012, 12:58 AM
Lets just see a [frick]ing accurate suit!
jimoakley666 - 8/2/2012, 1:00 AM
Oh, and that bottom picture is pure Wolverine. That face, the expression. Jackman is looking more bullbogish around the shoulders and chest than usual. Let's stuck with what Aronofsky suggested and goes chunkier.

In that bottom image he looks like a love child between Sean Connery and Clint Eastwood. Exactly what's needed.
TheSoulEater - 8/2/2012, 1:18 AM
No spandex...no spandex....no spandex....no spandex....no spandex.....
musashi - 8/2/2012, 1:52 AM
I'm glad that they're spending some time filming in Japan. Fingers crossed this doesn't suck.
comicmoviesdcmarvel - 8/2/2012, 2:43 AM
haha [frick]ushima
lunesta - 8/2/2012, 2:51 AM
I MISS DARREN ARONOFSKY DEAR SANTA OH WAIT [frick] YOU SANTA I HATE YOU
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 8/2/2012, 3:31 AM
Cool. Makes me think I look good with my current Wolvie Hair-Do, lol.

So it's confirmed, this is indeed a "sequel" to Origins? Such as shame. I mean, they should've went a '89 Batman route and not make it tied to anything, not independant, but isolated, I guess. Oh well, it's [frick]ing Wolverine, I'm sure they'll make him heal in a split second and have the ability to not die (BTW, thank [frick] you Quesada), but come on, IT'S WOLVERINE!

pepe - 8/2/2012, 3:32 AM
Dafuq, is wrong with his hair???? ... Fox needs too give this back too Marvel!!!
sameoldthing - 8/2/2012, 3:32 AM
@JayOh
Why wouldn't they use camera techniques & angles to make Hardy look more imposing as Bane..big deal,it worked!

Obviously a huge muscled up tall guy would be a good physical match for Bane..but after seeing the film,Hardy pulled it off or the camera pulled it off..whatever,it worked!

The same applies to Jackman when he got cast he was a tall, lean guy not a short muscular guy like Logan from the comics..so what,he pulled it off. He's the best at what he does!
DocBeez - 8/2/2012, 3:35 AM
New look with shorter hair looks just fine. He's a great actor and has done a great job as Logan.
sameoldthing - 8/2/2012, 3:45 AM
Anyone who thinks your going to get an actor who is an exact duplicate of a fictional character is out of their mind.

Hopefully casting directors, movie stylists & costumers can get close & find someone with quality acting ability then help them look the part nicely but short of using pure CG effects...forget it.

That's probably on the horizon in the near future..an all computer generated cast of people that look exactly like the characters from the books with the ability to give Oscar winning performances.
Without looking fake or like a video game..maybe 50 years from now,who knows?
TheBaroness89 - 8/2/2012, 3:47 AM
great actor but I wish someone else equally as great but not 6'2 was playing Logan. Its painful to see Wolverine on screen and all the 'pip squeak' 'shorty' and 'little man' jokes from the comics just go by the wayside. Equally painful was the 'fastball special' in X3....sheesh. Just give Wolvie back to Marvel.
marckos - 8/2/2012, 3:49 AM
Dafuq, is wrong with his hair???? Dafuq, is wrong with his hair???? Dafuq, is wrong with his hair????!
