Can't wait to see how much this movie makes with the addition of Japan's added gross.

BTW, that Ryoko Yonekura is sexy as hell. Damn!

DanteSparda - 8/14/2012, 11:23 AM
We all know why Kevin and Joss brought Samuel L. Jackson to the japan premiere right? Because if there is a shooting at the teather like with TDKR you can always count on Jackson to do what he does best!

Matador - 8/14/2012, 11:27 AM
Mr. Jackson can hide anything under that dress.
Spock - 8/14/2012, 11:29 AM
I really don't see the reason for it to show so late this summer? or Why for that matter, anyone care to educate me?
BattlinMurdock - 8/14/2012, 11:30 AM
I feel like if any country will like Avengers more than the US...

it'll be Japan.
Godzillafart - 8/14/2012, 11:47 AM
Hmmm. Any idea how Japan's box office usually affects CBM in relation to US?
LaputaHeir - 8/14/2012, 11:56 AM
I live in Japan but have already downloaded/seen the avengers.
Though I think that the movie will do well in Japan, I don't think that the Japanese audience will be more excited for it. You have to remember that despite being somewhat heavily westernized by western media in terms of it's surface appearance, Japan is still very much an Island-nation with an Island-nation mentality. That's to say that at the end of the day, if it's not Japanese, then it doesn't get that much of a welcoming due to it not being culturally relevant.
SageMode - 8/14/2012, 12:11 PM
Atleast Japan gets to see THE MOST DEFINITIVE COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER. HA
lntrn8 - 8/14/2012, 12:24 PM

Darkhaven - 8/14/2012, 1:49 PM

@Luminescent - There really is no need for that, dude. I'm not sure if you meant to cause trouble with that or what, but just be careful with what you comment. People can go berserk with comments like yours. Just saying, dude.
Karmatron - 8/14/2012, 2:39 PM
I really loved avengers it made me feelike a child again when I witnessed that a man can fly back then with superman the movie.... I hope it takes avatar down hehe.

This said I do not understand why in this marvel related article there is not a war and thousands of "Nolanites" trolling the marvel articles and why is it that in every Dark Knight Rises asrticle I read there are a lot of marvel fans attcking them?

I am a fan of both Marve and DC but I think these wars need to be over now.

Peace
TheAmazingChrisReeve63 - 8/14/2012, 2:40 PM
@Intruder - Lmao! I wonder why?
Jollem - 8/14/2012, 2:42 PM
@Karmatron - well said and i agree for the most part
nuclearpriest - 8/14/2012, 2:46 PM
@Intruder

If you threw up during TDKR then that means you enjoyed it way more than I did!
Karmatron - 8/14/2012, 2:47 PM
@Asian and Luminiscent: please stop this I attack you and you stricke back thing has to cease.

Things like this is what gives comics fans a bad name.

I am sure that next TDKR article will be free from Marvel fans attack as I am wathing this one unfold in pease.

Cheers
Karmatron - 8/14/2012, 2:47 PM
I hate this can not be edited lol
billytwohats - 8/14/2012, 2:49 PM
I liked Avengers, I thought they could have dumped Hawkeye and centred the film more on Capt America. They kind of glossed over Capt America's readjustment to modern life. Just for the record I think Dark Knight Rises is a good film also and you have to applaud Nolan for making an art house film that'll nearly gross 1 billion dollars.
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 8/14/2012, 2:55 PM
Samuel L. Jackson loves them Japanese girls. That's why he went to the premiere.
CaptainAmerica1 - 8/14/2012, 2:57 PM
Add another 150-200 mill onto the total for this film.....Nice
BenderDickCumPatch - 8/14/2012, 3:14 PM
Well this is another billion in Japan for Marvel.
TheAbomination - 8/14/2012, 3:14 PM
Wait, this movie is just now opening in Japan? Lol the rest of the world has already seen it!
marvel72 - 8/14/2012, 4:05 PM
@ intruder

that has got to be the best comment on this page.
Gunjin - 8/14/2012, 4:31 PM
I am in Japan, and I have waited for three months, averting my eyes and ears from any spoilers. Today, I wait no longer!
marvel72 - 8/14/2012, 4:45 PM
@ Gunjin

its crazy you are just getting the avengers & we are about two weeks away from the first blu-ray release.
SkateandDestroy88 - 8/14/2012, 5:03 PM
Yoss that first picture of the bike - Aweome photo(as usual) but seeing the thrasher flame logo.( just got a thrasher tat and want to convert it to flames.) Plus its behind my Beethoven tat so its like his fire rises. But was gonna fork out some scrilla and get the mighty mighty flip skateboards staple logo of - hate death kill - and also probably 666 tatted as well.

You may not know or give a shit who dudes like Arto and Rowly and Penny are but I take that as a sign. On Geoff Rowelys last part he have the song stand by me sung by Lemmy from motorhead.

Anyways. That was rad. Japan !!!
silverdog - 8/14/2012, 5:40 PM
