Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, & is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Seeing them side by side like that makes me not like the new armor too much. It's kind of cool, but the Mark VII was near perfect. Not a fan of the color scheme and helmet changes on the new one. Should be fine though
DioFoRio - 1/14/2013, 8:59 PM
looks like a different armor color scheme. More yellow less cream .
Wulfenmarc - 1/14/2013, 9:10 PM
Two new toys have already hit the shelves by me, those 12" figures where you push the button and it says some phrase from the movie, the color scheme looks good and was thought Iron Patriot was another character but they are playing it off as War Machine decided to change his name after getting new armor.
pud333 - 1/14/2013, 9:28 PM
The new armor is horrendous.
JorLBola - 1/14/2013, 9:33 PM
Oh that is so amazing... this is gonna be huge !! :)
BANE5000 - 1/14/2013, 9:58 PM
Is it me or does the bust for the new armor look to have the triangle arc reactor again ?
MarkV - 1/14/2013, 10:11 PM
The bust almost looks like a different armor. Multiple shades of gold.
MarkV - 1/14/2013, 10:12 PM
Folks, I wonder if the last shot is the final armor. The composite he builds, maybe in hiding.
OptimusPrimeTime - 1/14/2013, 10:23 PM
Good eye @@zinc saucier!!!

That is significant. There may be something to that!!
StarYeezus - 1/14/2013, 10:50 PM
@BANE5000 the inside of Tony's arc reactor was always triangular since IM2. The only thing that changed from IM2 to Avengers was the triangular window on the actual suit.
AUSSYACE - 1/14/2013, 10:54 PM
All the same old same old but in a different colour is all...

That bust would of looked so much better with full length arms as well...
Jollem - 1/14/2013, 11:49 PM
still don't really care for the look of the forty-deuce. nothing about the movie really has me excited, either. don't really care about a mansion getting 'sploded. maybe we'll see rdjr. "putting his life on the line" for the third time after someone tells him he is selfish and stuff. oh well, bring the one-liners
Silverhawk38 - 1/15/2013, 12:11 AM
I wish they would stop being so confusing is it the 47 or the 42?
OhGawDuhhh - 1/15/2013, 12:26 AM
BTW, I went to Target yesterday and Rhodey's being marketed as 'Iron Patriot'. Hmm.

Jollem - 1/15/2013, 12:36 AM
@JStark - if i put dozens and dozens of comments that just said "this shit is stupidz" or "don't care" or put up some "funny" pics of gifs to mock shit, then yes, i would agree with you that i am a hater

i like parts of iron man 1, 2 i won't even talk about, and i wish the 'vengers wasn't so rdjr.-centric. i don't really care for marvel studios' version of iron man and never cared about him in the comics at all. the robert downey junior movies didn't sucker me in and convert me into being a four-year fan :)
Hazmat103 - 1/15/2013, 12:41 AM
i wonder if Avengers 2 will be the last appearance of Iron Man. I doubt they'll do a fourth movie.
Jollem - 1/15/2013, 1:00 AM
@JStark - hey, i got no problem with that. i wouldn't call myself a rdjr.'s iron man lover, that's for sure :)

i don't attack fans and call them stupid for liking what they like
CoulsonLives - 1/15/2013, 2:47 AM
Seriously? no Ant-Man news? :( But the suit gets me to wonder... What are the other suits before 47???
CorndogBurglar - 1/15/2013, 2:54 AM
@ hazmat

Rdj's contract is up after Iron Man 3. If he is going to be in Avengers 2 then he will more than likely have to sign a new contract, and Marvel will probably want him to sign for more than one more movie.
Jollem - 1/15/2013, 4:06 AM
^iron dredd :)
RedMosquito - 1/15/2013, 4:54 AM
Is it me, or do the changes to the corners of the 'mouth' on the new suit kinda make him look like a sad mime?

Not feeling this new suit at all. Only hope it is not in the movie for long. My favourite is sill the Mark IV.
HeadPool420 - 1/15/2013, 8:59 AM
Hot Toys seems to do more Ironman and Batman stuff then anything else. Not complaining their stuff is amazing. Expensive but amazing!
Fogs - 1/15/2013, 10:30 AM
I'm digging the suit now.
gaikinger - 1/15/2013, 12:16 PM
Liking the new helmet alot.
