Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Anton - 4/12/2013, 1:09 PM
Is this 1993? Why does this sound like a music to a SEGA game?
TheAbaryMan369 - 4/12/2013, 1:14 PM
WOW... that's pretty bad.
But it DOES sound like a video game from the 90's. Hopefully it's not that bad in the movie.
superotherside - 4/12/2013, 1:29 PM
Can't really hear it very well. It's so poorly recorded.
Spidey91 - 4/12/2013, 1:34 PM
saying that the audio quality isn't the best would be the understatement of the decade.

still, waiting for inevitable "LOL SOUNDS LIKE SH*T SOUNDTRACK SUCKS MOVIE SUCKS" comment ::P
ManCalledSting - 4/12/2013, 1:35 PM
I heard they put Rhidey in the Iron Patriot suit in the comics, is this true?
thewonderer - 4/12/2013, 1:38 PM
WTF, sounds like Super Mario music.
santoanderson - 4/12/2013, 1:39 PM
Sounds like a Monday Night Football theme.
Ocelot - 4/12/2013, 1:40 PM
LOL it sounds like music for a sonic the hedgehog game on the dreamcast
marvel72 - 4/12/2013, 1:42 PM
wallpapers are cool, the music wasn't all that.
poop23 - 4/12/2013, 1:48 PM
I really hope the rest isn't like this cause this is just disappointing
beane2099 - 4/12/2013, 1:48 PM
Are you all serious with this? You're hating on how many seconds of a music clip? What part of "rough snippets from the opening and closing titles" do you all not get? But sure. Have at it.
Fogs - 4/12/2013, 1:52 PM
Can't hear shit, just the base notes. And it sounds like a 70's espionage series.
ButthurtKurvos - 4/12/2013, 1:53 PM
WTF am I listening to? Brian Tyler is much MUCH better than this! This has GOT to be a friggin joke!
thorhulk77 - 4/12/2013, 1:55 PM
The anticipation...
Moriarty117 - 4/12/2013, 1:57 PM
Hey guys what do you think of this theory:

So Tony beats the Madarin back into the shadows but he drops one or all of his rings. The rings somehow lead him into outer space and he meets up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Then Iron Man/ Stark stays with the Guardians for their movie, just like he hooked up with them in the comics.

I was thinking the Guardians would be jumping around in time so Tony might show up at the end of their movie, I don't know I'm just spitballing here.

??

I like the closing titles "Iron Man 3" more, felt heroic to me, just my two cents :) nuff' said :D
snazzyrazzy - 4/12/2013, 2:04 PM
i feel like this is a joke or something....cuz that was awful
ISleepNow - 4/12/2013, 2:07 PM
Bryan Tyler hasn't done much worth mentioning with the exception of his current work on Transformers Prime which is probably his best to date. The opening track sounds OK but honestly this movie should have better.
marvel54 - 4/12/2013, 2:12 PM
i hope this is a joke
ALegendaryPanda - 4/12/2013, 2:12 PM
The first track was....I don't even know. The second track from what I could hear was pretty cool.
NoAssemblyReqd - 4/12/2013, 2:15 PM
Wow! Sounds just like my 28.8 modem connecting!

Poor recording aside, not blown away so far, but I wasn't with my first listen of THE AVENGERS score either -- and now I hum that tune every day.
Oateyboat - 4/12/2013, 2:17 PM
The first track sounded sounds okay for closing credits, I imagined it overlayed over animations of Iron Man in a similar manner to The Incredibles. Second track worked for Iron Man's opening theme, has a heroic vibe to it.

Not as epic as I was expecting but I'm still not worried about the soundtrack since Tyler's work on Transformers Prime is remarkable
rockerdude22 - 4/12/2013, 2:18 PM
The first track sounded a little to upbeat for this kind of movie. IDK, maybe it'll work better in context. I liked the second track, though.
charlie2094 - 4/12/2013, 2:19 PM
No one catch the new clip shown today on the 'One Show', which Sir Ben Kingsley was on? Was pretty much the minute before the clip we saw on the Jonathan Ross show, showing Mandarin walk to the camera etc. Was thinking someone might have it up? I didn't record, will check iPlayer soon for it. Looked brilliant.

Hesistant to listen to this, love Brian Tyler's work, but a lot of people seem to be disliking that, but I guess a lot of people here dislike anything :P
stuntman180 - 4/12/2013, 2:30 PM
I really dig the second snippet!
TheManFromMars - 4/12/2013, 2:31 PM
I like it.
SigmaCenturion - 4/12/2013, 2:41 PM
Sounds really bad. Needs to crank up the bass and lose that 60s groove feel to it.
Ocelot - 4/12/2013, 2:48 PM
@Charlie2094 I saw that clip on the one show aswell pretty much just an extended clip of what was show on the jonathan ross show last week
Franshu - 4/12/2013, 3:08 PM
Quality is terrible, but still I'm not convinced by what was able to listen to. I miss Ramin Djawadi...
thewonderer - 4/12/2013, 3:12 PM
Ramin is too busy on Game of Thrones
TheAbomination - 4/12/2013, 3:32 PM
Wow. Sounds pretty gay to me. Still can't wait to see the movie though.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 4/12/2013, 3:36 PM
Uhhhh.....well maybe this is just a bad example. I hope so anyway...
agentmi5 - 4/12/2013, 3:54 PM
fail
StupidFatHobbit - 4/12/2013, 5:50 PM
And i thought the Iron Man 2 score was disappointing......
BasedThanos - 4/12/2013, 6:34 PM
It really wasn't that dissapointing to be honest...
I put my money on "Can you dig it" being the end credits song.
And did you guys listen to the second song? It's badass, and really "Brian-Tyler-esque"
BasedThanos - 4/12/2013, 8:48 PM
Seriously that was like 2 mins of terribly recorded audio chill your tits. There are like 20 more tracks on the score.
One thing is certain....
Y'ALL SOME OVERREACTING MOTHA[frick]ERS.
NeoBaggins - 4/13/2013, 1:35 AM
Sounds like shitty ass Sports music. Where's the one they play in the trailer. Get this American Gladiators shit up outta here.
ugoano - 4/13/2013, 3:10 AM
Have to admit, as a serious movie soundtrack fan, I was not enjoying the first track - reminded me of the opening to a cartoon... of the Ultimate Spider-man variety (sound quality didn't help). The second part was better, far more heroic. I can see it working well!

But second time around listening to the first part, I remembered that the music describes what's going on or tries to incite emotion. We don't know what will be on screen when listening to it. It's like listening to the Stark Expo music isolated and judging the rest of the track on it. Also, if you listen to the track in Iron Man 2 when Rhodey was fighting Tony Stark in the suits, there's also a corny feel to it.

We should relax and wait for the inevitable awesomeness!
