As Jackman gets bigger, his x-movies become worse. At this point I'd recommend slim fast.

One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

When I was a Marine, I was always shirtless. So, I'm not hating. I just think it's time for him to be in an actual uniform. If Spidey, Bats, Supes, Thor, and Cap can be in uniform, so should Logan.

My expectations for this movie are extremely low.

@ the heat.....shirtless? I'm in the army and never do we go shirtless. We always stay in uniform unless told so. Maybe the marines is more of an individual thing not the army.

I meant my days as a Marine. I was always in uniform(camis) during work hours (0715-1600), but after work hours as I was shirtless at the barracks.

I can understand how he feels. There he is, on the crapper, the log he's trying to stew is virtually sideways and then the damn roof starts leaking? Yeah......not cool.

And he has been. Fanboys just aren't happy with it. If you can think of a solid context that isn't fanwank service for Wolverine to willing put on a "superhero costume", I'd be all for it.

Well actually, there is. Oddly enough, Joss Whedon came up with. Depending on what Days of Future Past does with the events of X3 when it's all over (and moreover, they bring back Cyclops), I can easily see him taking the Astonishing X-Men route of deciding that now that the X-Men have gone public, the black leather uniforms don't exactly inspire warm feelings and opts to commission a "more heroic" look for the team when they do their thing.

It'll be more than decent. This movie is about taking an animal out of it's cage and placing him into a whole new environment. He's more volatile and confused than ever before. He is promised mortality but realizes that he was given his powers (And endoskeleton) for a reason (Similar to the idea of Ben Grimm in Fantastic Four, though, I'm not in any way, shape or form comparing it to that film, just the idea). He falls in love with the wrong brotha's sista' and mus deal with him, whilst the said brother is fighting his 'Ol Man for the role of head honcho in the Yashida clan. If you know you're Japanese history, you know the samurai must do something to be "crowned" and well, in the process SPOILER ALERT (Highlight to read): Wolverine does the deed and and is deemed position as leader of the Yashida clan, in which case, he then gives them a order. Just one word as he leaves the room, "Seppuku". He then recieves a letter from his old friend, explaining his past, the one thing Logan has searched his life looking for, he opens it as he boards a boat. He doesn't read it. He just rips it up and throws it in the water. This shows us he's fine not knowing. A very cool scene in my opinion. END OF SPOILERS.

This film is truly gonna be a thrill ride. I can't wait.

^^^so true. I have a feeling like this was the Wolverine we should have had YEARS ago. Mainly because I believe Mangold is the right guy for the job. I think he's a more competent director, specifically for this genre. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but usually the movies I know LESS about the MORE I typically enjoy them.

Expectations are not too high given Fox's track record, so I'm approaching this with caution.
But I still have a feeling this one and Thor: Dark World are going to surprise a lot of us.
