Sorry Thor lovers! We were contacted by Disney and asked to remove this video. Look for it in the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray/DVD

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios.

i'm just grateful there isn't any shaky cam.

thor the dark world comic book movie of 2013 & could be my favorite solo outing of the cinematic universe.
SimyJo - 8/20/2013, 8:23 AM
Thoust was expecting more from thy preview.

I R disappoint - (but am looking forward to what looks like an epic-looking film).
SimyJo - 8/20/2013, 8:27 AM
Yeeeeeah.... still not buying Iron Man 3! (nice try Marvel but not quite THAT desperate to see THOR: TDW BTS footage).
MrCBM56 - 8/20/2013, 8:29 AM
Beautiful.
MrCameron - 8/20/2013, 8:31 AM
I really want to be excited for this but I'm just not feeling it for some reason. Does look much better than the first one though.
EdgyOutsider - 8/20/2013, 8:31 AM
I'll buy Iron Man 3. Good movie but too much humor. First Thor movie was great but this looks leagues better. I am looking forward to Captain America: The Winter Soldier to be the best of Phase Two outside of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
GodzillaKart - 8/20/2013, 8:32 AM
Thor 2 looks great. IM3 is the best CBM of the year so far. Phase 2 is off to a great start!
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:33 AM
@TrueBeliever2 - they look like they use the same lens filter? thor 1 looks candy-coated compared to thor 2
JayJayCAW - 8/20/2013, 8:35 AM
looks good, cant wait :)
McNyagano - 8/20/2013, 8:35 AM
@Jollem

Why do you always have to bring up MOS on Thor: The Dark World articles???
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:36 AM
@TeeKay - "always" means "twice" in internetland. good to know. thanks :)
Omarvls - 8/20/2013, 8:36 AM
Why is it that no one ever asks why no helmet
McNyagano - 8/20/2013, 8:41 AM
@Jollem

Aren't you the one who said Thor was having re-shoots because Alan Taylor saw what Zack Snyder had done in MOS??
TheWolverine08 - 8/20/2013, 8:41 AM
Thor!
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:41 AM
why don't you worry about yourself?
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:42 AM
@TeeKay - no. would that be illegal to say? the horror
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:46 AM
@Mr.DaGod - fer shizzle
Demiurge - 8/20/2013, 8:50 AM
I'm loving the score for this ^^
Arrow96 - 8/20/2013, 8:51 AM
Well, this has a lot of potential. I'll give it a shot, hope I won't be disappointed.
Demiurge - 8/20/2013, 8:52 AM
@Omarvls :Because the women executives at Marvel said Hemsworth's too goddamn good-looking to wear a helmet.
Demiurge - 8/20/2013, 8:56 AM
Man, Chris's probably going to destroy the box-office come November, meanwhile Liam's Paranoia is flopping like Anderson Varejao. Liam should ask Thor to pass some of that hair product.
McNyagano - 8/20/2013, 8:57 AM
@Jollem

Oh not at all but saying some shit like that on a Thor article is trolling.What's annoying is when you think that Alan Taylor and Marvel were doing reshoots to try to make their action sequences comparable to those in MOS.lol xD

Alan Taylor has better things to do than to try to top action sequences from Zack Snyder.I trust Alan Taylor to bring it out right. Not too much just God Power and special effects. We have too much movies already with nothing but effects. I want real story with real characters, not just a Movie whose only purpose is to PRESENT HOW POWERFUL A SUPERHERO IS (cough*MOS*cough), just to convince Comicbook fans!

Jollem - 8/20/2013, 8:57 AM
@TeeKay - right on. that some lying and rambling, but that's good that you feel like you accomplished something :)
marvel72 - 8/20/2013, 9:03 AM
guys you shouldn't expect any less from trollem.
TheWolverine08 - 8/20/2013, 9:03 AM
I hope this is the best CBM of 2013. The scope of this movie feels epic.
vtopa - 8/20/2013, 9:04 AM
This will ROCK
Kayo - 8/20/2013, 9:04 AM
yeah baby!!!

pure awesomeness
marcel - 8/20/2013, 9:04 AM
Didn't know Taylor confirmed no shaky cam for this
wcwpoet - 8/20/2013, 9:09 AM
I could almost understand if the helmet obscured his face a lot or looked ridiculous. But it really worked for the brief moment we saw it on him. And if Hiddleston could rock that crazy scaled Loki Helmet why can't Hemsworth rock Thor's. It's a minor gripe though more wishful thinking than anything else. I'm still super pumped to see this hurry up November.
Seejay - 8/20/2013, 9:11 AM

TrueBeliever2 - 8/20/2013, 8:48 AM

Very cool. Hugin and Mumin.

Seejay - 8/20/2013, 9:12 AM

Odin's ravens.

They can be seen in Avengers too. In the scene where Thor interrogates Loki on the mountaintop, before the "battle" against Iron Man,
marvel72 - 8/20/2013, 9:13 AM
i got over thor not wearing his helmet in 2011,of course i'd like to see it but no point keep going on about it.
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 9:14 AM
@marvel72 - no, i will not make out with you
McNyagano - 8/20/2013, 9:15 AM
@Jollem

Eh I'm not the one who goes on the majority of Marvel articles trolling about IM3 or bringing up MOS on Thor articles. It becomes annoying, we know you're a butthurt fan but please leave us Marvel fans in peace, thank you.

This was one of your recent trolling on a Thor article -_-

Jollem - 8/20/2013, 9:18 AM
@TeeKay - that's what got you pissy? damn, dude
Jollem - 8/20/2013, 9:18 AM
@McGee - ha. nice
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/20/2013, 9:22 AM
It's not like the helmet looks dorky. Looks badass, and would look awesome on Thor. Anyway this movie looks like it is going to be the first quality movie from Marvel.
TheWolverine08 - 8/20/2013, 9:25 AM
@TheDARKKNIGHT1939 "First"?
