After Amy Adams concurred that she loved Man of Steel and she's excited for the sequel to be moving forward, Collider asked how early did she know Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder had cast Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. "Oh did they? I don't even know so clearly I'm not the person to talk to," she confessed, admitting she's just now finding out. "That's awesome, I hope I get a scene with her. I love working with the gals. I think we start [filming] in February, it's sort of the plan. I'm excited, I think it's gonna be awesome!" I think it's gonna be good times."

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne, the tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman flick is scheduled for release on July 17, 2015!

Make this good DC, the future of your films is riding on it. Also, please incorporate Arrow and Flash tv universe into the film universe, I will love you forever.
charlie2094 - 12/7/2013, 10:30 AM
Imagined it was around that time, can't wait for leaked photos to start coming out :P
quas666 - 12/7/2013, 10:34 AM
ain't she a beaut
DarkSuperman - 12/7/2013, 10:46 AM
I hate when they ask actors what they think of casting if she's going to say "Ohh that bitch sucks. No. Really, terrible." No ones going to talk crap about people they're going to have to work with for the next 6 months.
ForeverPowerful - 12/7/2013, 10:47 AM
Can't wait till this starts going. So much potential.
TheRealistStarLord - 12/7/2013, 10:48 AM
Aint she the most CUTEST Lois Lane ever?

Just give us a pic of Affleck in costume please.
ALmazing - 12/7/2013, 10:56 AM
Her role in Justice League Diet will be pretty much what her role was in in MoS, she'll be conveniently in places to explain or have things explain to her.

If this film works (which I very much hope it does) DC n Warner Bros. will b untouchable, the cinematic universe will b set in stone, but if it doesn't... Well, I think it'd b at least a Batman Forever 2 Begins amount of time before we get another big screen attempt at cinematic DC universe. I'm worried as [frick] about this film, but I hope they have a plan n hope it works... All just a matter of waiting n seeing now...
Nomis - 12/7/2013, 11:07 AM
@ NPaMusic - I think of someone else when I think of the 'Good Times' TV show. ;)

Reni - 12/7/2013, 11:36 AM
Can't believe some people call Amy ugly or old. She's [frick]ing hot.

Not as much as Faora though.
DavidGray - 12/7/2013, 11:38 AM
"I love working with the gals"

Pun intended?

KidGoku - 12/7/2013, 11:42 AM
DC is putting everything on the line here. As much as i loved MOS the critics and half of the fans didn't agree. Zack, we've seen your potential. There's something there and you need to tap into that. DC is depending on you with this.
KidGoku - 12/7/2013, 11:43 AM
I'm all for Wonder Woman action. Faora was one of the best things of MOS
ruadh - 12/7/2013, 11:48 AM
"Her not knowing WW was in the film makes me think that this will just be a WW cameo or a supporting role that will not affect the plot, meaning just Diana Prince. This is more of a DCU casting than a specific film as of now."

Eh, she probably doesn't know because she hasn't read the script. Is the script even finished yet? However, I do agree that WW will probably not be a major character in it.

Though with the Flash rumored to appear as well, all they need is GL and we're right back where we started with the last Justice League rumor being only the big 5.
Namor - 12/7/2013, 11:52 AM
I also loved MOS. I'm a Marvel guy and didn't go to the theater for it, but watched it 3times in 24hrs of having it OnDemand.

The only odd thing to me is, you go from the first one having next to no one at all, to all of a sudden, you got Batman, Wonder Woman, and Supes.

I'm hoping Bizarro is the villian personally. I would love watching the opposite powers of Superman, and itd be like going against him, so Supes could use the help from WW and Bats to help him out.
SuperCat - 12/7/2013, 11:56 AM
@ Nomis

I've been in love with her since I was 10!

@ SuperCat - No Doubt! Thelma! Thelma! Thelma!

JediSuperGuy83 - 12/7/2013, 12:29 PM
Amy Adams is The Hottest and Best Lois Lane of all time
SuperCat - 12/7/2013, 12:29 PM
You're killin' me, Nomis!
Lhornbk - 12/7/2013, 12:31 PM
@Blackjack, I don't think she was saying she didn't know Wonder Woman would be in the movie, she was just saying she didn't know that Gal Gadot got the part.
JULEZ13 - 12/7/2013, 12:43 PM
I can't wait for this movie now!

Remember how the internet exploded when we got the first picture of Cavill as Superman?!? That's ONE superhero - yeah, the biggest of all time, but now we get TWO superheroes! Arguably the top 2 comic book heroes of ALL TIME in 1 movie!

The question now is do we get a picture of both Batfleck AND WW, 2 individual character photos, or do we ever see Gadot in costume at all until JL!?
Nomis - 12/7/2013, 12:43 PM
@ Supecat - One more...with the 'fro!

CherryBomb - 12/7/2013, 12:51 PM
Amy is one of the best actress of this generation.
Love her!

- yeah, asking her thoughts on this casting is ridiculous. She's not going to hate it or even think too much of it, it's work.
CherryBomb - 12/7/2013, 12:52 PM
I do hope they share a scene!
Maybe Lois interviewing Diana Prince? Or atleast having them cross paths.
TheDarkKnightofSteel - 12/7/2013, 12:53 PM
In February there is chance that she will hear her name by Daniel Day Lewis during the oscars....but a fifth nomination can make her role even bigger.Didn't they say that her relationship will Clark will be more significant this time around?
Voiceofthevoiceless - 12/7/2013, 12:58 PM
On another note American Hustle looks great.
SpideyQuad - 12/7/2013, 1:29 PM
Well I have to admit I didn't believe any of this last summer. I'm impressed filming starts in February. Maybe WB is finally getting their act together.
ShadowTheIronKnight - 12/7/2013, 1:34 PM
"I hope I get a scene with with her" (giggity)
ReeferInferno - 12/7/2013, 1:49 PM
I think normally she's a great actress but for some in reason I thought she was really poor in MoS... may be the lack of chemistry with Cavill.
Though to be fair some of the dialogue she had was atrocious.
Prime - 12/7/2013, 2:43 PM
Well...Superman is tapping WW in the comics...might as well in the movies.
Ranger14 - 12/7/2013, 2:59 PM
Didn't care for Amy Adams as Lois Lane at all. The lack of chemistry between her and Cavill was somewhat painful for me to watch.
neihofft - 12/7/2013, 3:00 PM
I think people are out of their [frick]ing minds to want Doomsday in this as a villain.

1. Batman would just die
2. What good is it to have Superman die if the city has not grown to love him yet?

And having a full blown trinity movie is not happening in this one Im quite sure. Jeez.

Lex/ Metallo or even Parasite are ideal villains. No big ones like Brainiac, Doomsday, or Darkseid. Save Doomsday for last. And save the others for JL
patrat18 - 12/7/2013, 4:42 PM
Speak up biachh
Scooby - 12/7/2013, 5:54 PM
I'd so make crazy funky monkey jungle love to her, ugh . . .
StrangerX - 12/7/2013, 6:07 PM
For me DC is doing exactly what they did with Batman Begins. Give you a hero line up a decent story for a sequel, and then with the awesomeness like in TDK. Affleck is getting the Ledger treatment where everyone is unsure if he will do the role justice, but im sure once the audience gets a taste of Gotham in the trailer in Snyder vision. Its bound to get all positive reactions.
