Wow, amazing work. I really want to see more Bor in a future Thor film. I'd love to see a flash back of young Odin as well...

HelaGood - 12/17/2013, 11:55 AM
one of the coolest parts of the movie for sure! glad they changed Bor's helmet!
Boyle360 - 12/17/2013, 12:02 PM
Why didn't they make an actual helmet for Bor?
NovaCorpsFan - 12/17/2013, 12:06 PM
See, the other action sequences were trying to live up to this right through the film.
EpitomeofAwesome - 12/17/2013, 12:09 PM
@Boyle
Exactly what I was thinking
Growup - 12/17/2013, 12:20 PM
He have one , they must have change their minds and put a different one.
Ramiel - 12/17/2013, 12:24 PM
Best prologue for a CBM this year.
localsonlymills - 12/17/2013, 12:53 PM
@Boyle

I'm sure it had to do with the shape of his helmet and having to perform with it on.

@Growup

It looks like the one he has on in the video is Heimdall's
HelaGood - 12/17/2013, 1:09 PM
yes. the one shot was heimdalls helmet. there is no way he could move wearing the helmet is is supposed to wear. so they changed it digitally.
themidnightking - 12/17/2013, 1:19 PM
Sweet! I need this shiz on Blu-ray though!
BlackFlash - 12/17/2013, 1:37 PM
It's always funny to see people complain about cgi especially when it's done so well, reminds me of when they showed all those scenes from The Avengers that were never really shot in NY, people didn't bitch till that came out and saw how much as green screen, what also made me laugh was that in the same video they made it clear to why they could shoot there.

I never knew that was a cgi helmet but this just shows how far technology has come and the things that could be done in future films, I love practical effects was much as the next person but when the visual effects are done this good and at this level I can't complain.
ALmazing - 12/17/2013, 2:09 PM
If this was an audition for Miller to potentially direct a Marvel feature I think he was very successful, but Fox should let him direct dead pool first.
whoa123 - 12/17/2013, 5:00 PM
Damn I loved the prologue of the movie
TheRealRemyLebeau - 12/17/2013, 5:20 PM
Didn't know what was cgi and what wasn't besides background. Best visuals in a comicbook movie by far.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 12/17/2013, 5:22 PM
Didn't think Bors helmet was cgi!?!? It looked great and real. If they did that with bor why not add a digital helmet for Thor marvel. That was your test run right there.????? Marvel add Thors iconic helmet please.!!!!
JoJo1982 - 12/17/2013, 7:30 PM
@Remy

*thumbs up on that idea*
ThePowerCosmic - 12/17/2013, 7:53 PM
The Prologues on both thor films were great! Sums up the Asgardians history with the different races they battled. Thor TDW...awesome film!
superbatspiderman - 12/17/2013, 8:12 PM
I think that Alan Taylor has a promising career in cinema. The visuals in this movie reminded me of Guillermo Del Toro's effects. He is another director that can do great stuff with fantasy.
MsDarkPhoenix - 12/17/2013, 11:29 PM
@PinkGusto Thank you Pinkie Pie for thinking about the girls of this site! He is really hot!!
MightyZeus - 12/17/2013, 11:56 PM
That prologue for the film looked amazing and from then i had high hopes for this movie until Darcy came in with her intern and one liners. Not forgetting having Erik Selvig running around naked through out the whole film.
MsDarkPhoenix - 12/18/2013, 12:37 AM
Can't wait for the inter's intern's intern and their love triangle in Thor 3. And I want to see someone else naked in Thor 3 *cough* Loki *cough*.
