BlackCat1 - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM
No costume.?!!
CuddlyCereal - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM
Oh practical effects. How I love thee.
Also, "The biggest ever superhero movie"....What?
MexicanChinman - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM
Freaking awesome. I like that each Beast transformation looks different. X-Men The Last Stand had ape look, X-Men First Class had a lion look, and now X-Men Days of Futures Past has the werewolf look.
marvel72 - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM
thunder-thunder-thundercats!
MrCBM56 - 1/27/2014, 6:17 AM

breakUbatman - 1/27/2014, 6:19 AM

"Superhuman strength, agility,speed and furriness"

Is furriness an ability?
smell - 1/27/2014, 6:21 AM
Quicksilver will be my choice for Halloween unless I get confused for a hobo Mr fantastic

SpideyQuad - 1/27/2014, 6:21 AM
Fox is so gay! Everyone knows Hank didn't mutate naturally into his blue state. He was trying to find a cure to human mutation. Trying it out on himself he mutated originally into a Gray beast which granted him an almost instant healing factor. Later after this initial mutation he mutated again into his blue form, and his healing factor is greatly reduced, still present.

The point being he wasn't naturally in this blue state, and it didn't occur during the X-Men's early years. But then again Fox's clueless
RamonSuarez - 1/27/2014, 6:21 AM
Gotta hand it to Fox.

They usually nail it down with the cosmetic effects. Their Beast, Nightcrawler, and Mystique designs are usually spot on.
JJJameson - 1/27/2014, 6:22 AM
I don't remember been this embarassed with the reveal of the look of a superhero film since Batman and Robin.

.
MexicanChinman - 1/27/2014, 6:22 AM
@CuddlyCereal, well isn't it? The cast makes Avengers look like the first X-Men movie.Time travel, giant robots, many mutants with different powers make XMDOFP bigger than what we have seen in any cbm. That dosen't mean the movie would good or bad.
SpideyQuad - 1/27/2014, 6:23 AM
Kelsey Grammer's beast is so far the closest to the comic character. This version above looks anorexic
MrBatmor - 1/27/2014, 6:23 AM
My only problem is the fact that they are not in their 'costume'@breakubatman yes!! He will let us use his FURRY head as a bed and when we sleep he will strangle us!!
DudeGuyMan - 1/27/2014, 6:24 AM
MexicanChinman - 1/27/2014, 6:24 AM
@SpideyQuad, did you not watch First Class?
CuddlyCereal - 1/27/2014, 6:25 AM
@Mexicansuperman
I meant more that "The biggest ever superhero movie" as a phrase makes no sense
Aquaman9 - 1/27/2014, 6:27 AM
Teen wolf copy
SpideyQuad - 1/27/2014, 6:27 AM
I did, but was under the impression they were going to try and fix multiple errors from the past. Couldn't pass up the chance to show my superior comic book knowledge :-)
RamonSuarez - 1/27/2014, 6:29 AM
LOL. Not a big fan of Fox or Singer but you guys sound like whiny little girls. Beast looks well adapted here.
MrCBM56 - 1/27/2014, 6:30 AM
SpideyQuad

Really? LOL.
MrCBM56 - 1/27/2014, 6:30 AM
Teen Wolf copy? Ok...
Kyos - 1/27/2014, 6:30 AM
You guys should probably work a method about how to present those pictures here on CBM. Because making it "one picture/one article" will be damn annoying and completely spamming the main page.
MegaMatt - 1/27/2014, 6:31 AM
TODAY IS DOFP DAY!!!!!
rebellion - 1/27/2014, 6:32 AM
SpideyQuad .. what you just said doesn't make any sense at all...better keep that''superior comic book knowledge'' to yourself :-)
GetsugaTensho22 - 1/27/2014, 6:33 AM
Why don't you just update that one article, instead of making so many?
MegaMatt - 1/27/2014, 6:33 AM
Follow Bryan Singer...there are a lot more reveals coming out today. There is already looks at Sentinel Mark I and Bolivar Trask...

Jackraow21 - 1/27/2014, 6:33 AM
I think he looks fine for a young version of the character. Now, if they ever do Beast in the present day again I'd like to see his mutation have continue to evolve to the point where he's massive. I liked the Kelsey Grammer version, but make him bigger and more ape-like and it'd be perfect. Use CGI to make him monstrous. Just my $.02.
RamonSuarez - 1/27/2014, 6:38 AM
To be honest, the Kelsey Grammar version of Beast didn't look functional at all because it was too bulky and stocky. You could tell its agility was artificial with the wires lifting him up.
MrCBM56 - 1/27/2014, 6:41 AM
RamonSuarez

Agreed!
Spidey10 - 1/27/2014, 6:42 AM
And the academy award for visual effects goes to...............
marvel72 - 1/27/2014, 6:45 AM
