I really want to see more Malekith stuff. But wasn't there only one scene when the dvd back surfaced? Was hoping for a few scenes at least, movie could have been that much better with more of his character and background fleshed out...

i wish they'd release a director's cut of this with more Asgard and even less Earth...Marvel still feels gunshy to do that, I don't get it...'great scene here.

Good scene, if there is more like that floating around, I'd like to see a director's cut!

Great scene. Hate how these great scenes were deleted. Even the first Thor movie had great deleted scenes.

It's a shame they cut out this fantastic scene just to so they could shove more Loki down our throats.

Marvel Studios, either fire your editing department or stop cutting the hell out the most touching scenes that give your movies more depth and heart. Your hurting your films by doing this. If people will sit down, watch and enjoy 3 hours of Lord Of The Rings, then they'll stay and watch a great Marvel Studios film too that is edited correctly and not 1:30 hours of rushed stuff, with choppy editing. Stop putting in more time for less important characters while giving more important characters(villains)less time and emphasis. Example Darcy & her internet should have only had cameos. Leave them out of Thor 3 and no earth scenes, just a quick look at earth, and no more than a quick cameo for Darcy.

By over editing your movies, especially Thor, now have not been able to make the proper build up to a proper Ragnarok. RAGNAROK WOULD BE BETTER OFF SHOT IN A TWO-THREE PART SERIES, SHOT BACK TO BACK. FIVE Thor movies in all.

Shoot Thor 3-5 back to back, with classic sub-stories, Ragnarok can still be the premise but the sub-stories can all be leading up to Ragnarok itself.

Marvel royally [frick]ed with this movie far too much. Its like they intentionally wanted it be a generic, vapid, action comedy instead of an actually great CBM. I'm really fed up with Marvel for doing this and they better not touch CA:TWS because everything so far about that film looks and sounds fantastic. Of course unless Feige instead releases, as someone else stated accurately, his "Dumbass Cut".

I enjoyed what we got in the theater, but also agree there could have been more to this movie to elevate it to greatness. Give it a little bit more breathing room with 15 or so more minutes. Thor and Frigga, the extended celebration, and I'll wager a good part of all the dark elf stuff we have heard was chopped out would (WILL!) make this a great and grand adventure of a show.
Make a Goddamn Extended Cut Marvel.
I don't know why this studio is so afraid of Extended or Director Cuts in this age of special home editions of movies---even if it is "double-dipping" you know a good chunk of us CBM fans would still buy them.
