After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Humperdink - 2/4/2014, 8:57 AM
Nice!

I really can't wait for this film.

You know...I was so pumped after that Superbowl spot that I immediately went to the studio. I had to draw Winter Soldier. I've never drawn him before but seeing him in action was just too inspiring.

My wife asked me to do Falcon too.
I think she has a thing for Anthony Mackey though. - ___ -

Humperdink - 2/4/2014, 9:00 AM
Here's my version of Falcon. I literally drew these that night during the Superbowl.

Mrcool210 - 2/4/2014, 9:00 AM
oh robert redford saying his character has a lot of dimension? in a marvel studios film? don't make me laugh, if there is it will all be cut out, just like it was for whiplash and maleketh
cipher - 2/4/2014, 9:02 AM
Humperdink- Mate, that's fantastic. You've got talent.

:)
Mrcool210 - 2/4/2014, 9:02 AM

EvilSuperman - 2/4/2014, 9:03 AM
@Humperdink

Humperdink - 2/4/2014, 9:04 AM

EvilSuperman - 2/4/2014, 9:04 AM
I have to say I definitely like the look of where this is headed. And now we know for sure Bucky has some form of the serum too.

This is an exciting time indeed, especially if you are a huge Cap fan like myself.

Come on Winter Soldier

GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:12 AM
Regarding the Mandarin One shot film that was taken dowm....

When the Ten rings reporter talls Trevor that the Mandarin will like to meet you. This goes back to what Roger Wardell said that the Manndarin is a being.

"The Mandarin in the MCU is an elevated past physical being, as it sort of is a technodemon, a biological AI…"

"He AI (Mandarin) controls the Extremis soldiers in order to try and mold one of them into the actual Mandarin…

While doing this the power of the AI (Mandarin) can become too much for some (Aldrich Killian)…

Killian’s superego really was starting to convince himself that he was the master of the mandarin persona…

While Trevor was embracing it and becoming it…

In the end The Mandarin will stay an AI, but Trevor’s mind and body will become the technodemon mandarin persona."

Yeah, you'd think I'd be working professionally somewhere, hah!
I'm 'trained' to do comics. I know 'how' to do comics. I just 'don't' do comics.

The closet I've come to working at one of the 'big two' was years ago when an editor wanted me to do an issue of Deadpool. There was a team change up though, and he got switched out for another guy and the new guy brought in his own team so I didn't get it. Since then it's like breaking into Fort Knox with a hand full of test scripts! F*** it. LOL.

Now I just do this stuff for fun, or for the independent guys.

GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:13 AM
But Cap featurette was pretty cool though
Jollem - 2/4/2014, 9:13 AM
Mrcool presents valid criticisms
DanMcNice - 2/4/2014, 9:14 AM
@Humper cool stuff man!!

I cant wait for this movie. With every piece of footage it seems better and better. Probably best CBM of this year!
Jollem - 2/4/2014, 9:15 AM
i was inspired by the cap trailer to do american art, myself

ChuckV - 2/4/2014, 9:15 AM
GREAT artwork... but doesn't it speak volumes how BADLY Marvel design the movie look of the Falcon??? He
just looks very.... generic.

Still, diggin' your art style, Humperdink!!
Praetorian - 2/4/2014, 9:15 AM
Kinda seems like it's going to be the Dark Knight with Captain America. Which I am okay with.
GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:16 AM
Roger Wardell-It is also a GREAT possibility that Kingsley will show up in

Captain America: The Winter Soldier…
EpitomeofAwesome - 2/4/2014, 9:16 AM
@Humperdink
capcyclopsftw - 2/4/2014, 9:17 AM
Video won't play for me! :(
GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:18 AM
Who would have thought that The twins Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch would

show up in a post credit scene in Captain America the Winter Soldier.

Any thing can happen.
SuperCat - 2/4/2014, 9:18 AM
LMAO!! @ gusto

You f@ckin' d*ck!
m0th3r - 2/4/2014, 9:21 AM
"alot of dimension" could be a play on words..since the Red Skull got sent to another dimension at the end of TFA...I think Redford is the skull myself, given this facade by Loki....
McNyagano - 2/4/2014, 9:21 AM
Awesome, was that the score in the background?
GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:21 AM
Roger Wardell- "Like Ben Kingsley, Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce) will show up

again in a future Marvel project.

Speaking of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it will be revealed there that AIM is secretly working under Hydra."
JoJo1982 - 2/4/2014, 9:21 AM
This seems like the perfect MCU movie
manofsteel1942 - 2/4/2014, 9:22 AM
@ Gusto

Cool drawing....What's that in his mouth...????
GoldenOne33 - 2/4/2014, 9:22 AM
Yahoo!!!
capcyclopsftw - 2/4/2014, 9:22 AM
So HYDRA iiiiis the one who found Bucky and turned him into the Winter Soldier here.
JoJo1982 - 2/4/2014, 9:22 AM
@mcnyagano

I'm trying to find that out too

It went pretty well with this
MrMartinMarvel - 2/4/2014, 9:23 AM
"He was found by Hydra…" So I guess that confirms it wasn't the Russians that found him, but then why does he have the red star on his arm?
NeoBaggins - 2/4/2014, 9:24 AM
@Gusto

Dude, I'm at work!
Pedrito - 2/4/2014, 9:24 AM
@Jollem
Valid criticisms but for previous movies. Which he's trying to extrapolate to this new movie by a new set of directors.
It comes off as "that guy". That's all, no biggie.
