After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Looks like the Helicarriers have been upgraded with Stark repulser tech engines.

That explosion of the car that happens behind Black Widow as she swings down under the bridge looks horrendous.
It looks like an iPhone app did the effects for it. I hope they clean it up for the film

i wonder if hawkeye gonna show up and die or he will die in Age of Ultrun...
RamonSuarez - 2/8/2014, 1:38 AM
The art in these stills are like they're taken straight out of a comic book.

Wow. So much better than anything we've seen since the Avengers.
knocturnal - 2/8/2014, 1:47 AM
Curious how they're gonna explain why no other avengers or IP are there to help out, ironman is retired as of now I assume but what about IP? Does this take place at the same time as Thor 2? If not where is Thor?
MrBatmor - 2/8/2014, 2:25 AM
@jollem jaker bane? He doesnt look, like joker not bane?? What are you talking about...and shit the have a similar kinda shot like ghost rider, they are copying...such a lame excuse trying to hate the movie..,

Jollem - 2/8/2014, 2:27 AM

MrBatmor - 2/8/2014, 2:27 AM
@knocturnal I believe thor is in asgard(assuming this movie takes place before Thor 2)
dethpillow - 2/8/2014, 2:29 AM
@knocturnal - you know what i noticed too? Thor never gets stuck with guard duty at Avenger's mansion. like those nights when everyone else is busy but one person has to stay by the radio phone.

never gonna be Thor, that's for sure.
Stormlance - 2/8/2014, 2:32 AM
Its definitely Widow in the car with Falcon when Bucky rips the steering wheel out but you can see Caps shield when the car flips. He really needs to stop lending it out to people.
dethpillow - 2/8/2014, 2:34 AM
@batmor - actually, no this movie takes place after Thor 2, cuz of AOS timeline. they were cleaning up from Malekith a couple months ago, and then now later they are gonna have some kind of stuff to do for Captain America.
dethpillow - 2/8/2014, 2:39 AM
if i was you, knocturnal, i'd be worried about Rhodey and Hawkeye...
those are the two to keep an eye on.
MrBatmor - 2/8/2014, 2:53 AM
@dethpillow o yes i forgot about that...then its probably coz Thor is in London and doesn't give a shit about what's happen in shield...its not like winter solider is going to destroy the world or is he..O.o
mgeoff88 - 2/8/2014, 3:04 AM
This movie looks amazing!

@koolaidbag Good eye! That could be Agent Sitwell in the reflection though.

@Jollem The only thing Ghost Rider:SOV did better was show people how to make a terrible CBM.

You go on and on how about how much you don't troll, but then you're suggesting a critically panned CBM is somehow better than CA:TWS...
