The special edition poster will be handed out to invited guests during the company’s presentation at the American International Toy Fair this weekend in New York City. Hasbro's GOTG action figure line includes six figures total. In addition to those pictured above — Gamora, Peter Quill/Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Drax the Destroyer — attendees will be the first to see the two remaining figures in the line when they're unveiled Saturday. And no, Groot doesn't count in this case because he's the Build-A-Figure character for the line; each figure comes with a build-a-figure piece that allows you to build your own Groot. The Marvel Legends line will hit shelves in July and retail for $19.99 each. Check out the official rules here for poster giveaway.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014.

So much Guardians stuff lately. And the trailer in 5 days too. Man, I'm gonna have a heart attack. Gonna lock myself away and watch it until I can recite everything that happens in it flawlessly.

xBlaze96x - 2/13/2014, 10:00 AM
Looks cool, glad to see the costumes are different now. I am very interested in this movie, I bought the first collection of the re-vamped GOTG and it is great, so here is to hoping!
ezio619 - 2/13/2014, 10:01 AM
its weird that she doesnt have the markings in the official still but gunn said that it was a test shot so they maybe added in the markings later
batz11 - 2/13/2014, 10:01 AM
Cool, notice Gamora does have a lil' treatment around her eyes on the toy, hope we get to see that on her in the movie...wished there was a little yellow though...

Think if you really zoom in and look close, can see 'something' there around her eyes...

dethpillow - 2/13/2014, 10:06 AM
Rocket!
BatManiac - 2/13/2014, 10:06 AM
Hmm. I do wonder why they never gave Gamora the yellow around her eyes. I mean I think she looks cool, but as far as changes go, this was a change for the sake of change.
ezio619 - 2/13/2014, 10:08 AM
batmaniac-if u look at the toy, she does have it, gunn said that that still was from an early test shot so they have changed rockets and groots design a little too, i think they may have added the yellow after
TheBaroness89 - 2/13/2014, 10:08 AM
Kids are going to push this movie to a billion. Parents have to take the kids,fans will go,casual fans will go,word of mouth will spread and then all of sudden you have to see it or you are out of the loop...

GOTG is going to shock the box office like Lego did.
themidnightking - 2/13/2014, 10:08 AM
Nooooice!
DefcoN - 2/13/2014, 10:08 AM

JoJo1982 - 2/13/2014, 10:11 AM
@thebaroness

I hope so

The hype for this movie train is starting to begin
BatManiac - 2/13/2014, 10:11 AM
@ezio

I'm talking about the toy. She doesn't have the yellow around her eyes like the comics. That's not the same. It's different. It's more like a yellow pattern on her cheekbones and above her eyebrows, not the circular shade of yellow she has around her eyes in the comics.
BatManiac - 2/13/2014, 10:12 AM
I think Drax, Rocket and Groot look the best. It's good to know Star-Lord has his helmet but aside from the his helmet (which looks cool as [frick]), I'm not keen on his costume.
KryptoKNIGHT - 2/13/2014, 10:14 AM
Meh... looking forward to the trailer.
Arrowhead77 - 2/13/2014, 10:14 AM
Why the hell does Gomora always look terrible. Her toy looks like she is high on something. The art work for her always looks bad. Hope she looks better in the actual movie, because she is sexy in the comics!
ezio619 - 2/13/2014, 10:14 AM
Batmaniac-i dig star lords costume, he is suppose to be a rogue an outlaw and a jacket ala han solo/ malcolm reynolds works imo

Thebaroness-yeah ,hopefully its a good movie and it is successful, the lego movie was a surprise, both quality wise and box office wise, i was sure that Cap would be the first BIG hit of the year ,seeing the current schedule of films coming out before then but i was surprised when it was the lego movie and im happy too,it desereves it
NovaCorpsFan - 2/13/2014, 10:15 AM
Honestly, I'm gonna need months to recover from the trailer.
Omarvls - 2/13/2014, 10:15 AM

@Batmaniac

You think Gamora looks cool? I think Marvel dropped the ball on that one
ezio619 - 2/13/2014, 10:17 AM
Batmaniac-oh ok yeah ,true
gambgel - 2/13/2014, 10:17 AM
Rocked looks sad. Weird way to make his action figure
ezio619 - 2/13/2014, 10:18 AM
well with gamora it could be the case of it looking much better in motion and on screen then in stills
SuperCat - 2/13/2014, 10:19 AM
GinjaNinja - 2/13/2014, 10:22 AM
