Do we even know if those scenes are in South Africa? Sure they're being filmed there but most suburban areas are pretty interchangeable nowadays.
DCMarvelFreshman - 2/21/2014, 12:56 PM
@DEVLIN712 Marvel told the film commission that Johannesburg will be filmed as Johannesburg.
Reasonnnn - 2/21/2014, 12:56 PM
Haha man, filmmaking is so awesome...
KidGoku - 2/21/2014, 12:59 PM
It just hit me that this is actually happening. That we are actually getting a sequel to an Avengers movie. Wow. Just think about that.
Tempo - 2/21/2014, 12:59 PM
Why use a practical effect when they use all CGI o.O?
TheEmptySoulessSpectre - 2/21/2014, 1:00 PM
Um, that's like 1/4 of a Hulk there.
TheEmptySoulessSpectre - 2/21/2014, 1:01 PM
Regardless, still cool for what it is.
Kurne - 2/21/2014, 1:01 PM
FINALLY!!!! A second movie with Hulk where his appearance doesn't shit on continuity!!!!
TheManFromMars - 2/21/2014, 1:02 PM
SPOILER: Hulk gets decapitated!
Kurne - 2/21/2014, 1:04 PM
The hair on Hulk looks much more like Ruffalo's than in the first film. Hope they've upped the CG.
Hellboy6666 - 2/21/2014, 1:04 PM
I love that this movie will begin with a hulk out!
8thPassenger - 2/21/2014, 1:04 PM
So they can match the lighting when it comes for cg.
TheClemster - 2/21/2014, 1:04 PM
Yup that's Hulk allright
Humperdink - 2/21/2014, 1:05 PM
I'm pumped for this, and the new Fantastic Four.
mvnwalks421 - 2/21/2014, 1:06 PM
The stage hand in the first photograph is wearing a camp lehigh shirt
jimoakley666 - 2/21/2014, 1:06 PM
I love the way the Hulk looks in The avengers. Very much Jack Kirby's Hulk!
Lancer1 - 2/21/2014, 1:08 PM
oh my god it's the's happening guys let's celebrate ..
Highflyer - 2/21/2014, 1:09 PM
Is it just me or is the hulk looking a little too old. I know Its supposed to resemble Mark Ruffalo but I'm not really digging an old man hulk.
Tempo - 2/21/2014, 1:09 PM
8thPassenger: Seems legit
typicalfanboy - 2/21/2014, 1:09 PM
Looks a little gray at the gils if you catch my drift
Pasto - 2/21/2014, 1:10 PM
It's happening, haven't we known it would be happening for awhile now?
BackwardGalaxy - 2/21/2014, 1:10 PM
For a second there, based on the first picture, I thought we were getting a gray Hulk.
NICKHART - 2/21/2014, 1:14 PM
is that hulk or iron man's head in the 4th picture down?
Mrcool210 - 2/21/2014, 1:14 PM
he looks even lighter green now, can't they just find a design and stick with it? he changes every movie, even if its a sequel
Gdub510 - 2/21/2014, 1:15 PM
MaN ok, so even tho HuLk does his thing and destroys part of Africa the other Avengers need him to destroy uLtron, end of credits scene, Hulk wakes up on a space ship, Iron man recording playing "I am truly sorry for what we've had to do..."
Bread - 2/21/2014, 1:18 PM
@Gdub510- Planet Hulk would be awesome.
Highflyer - 2/21/2014, 1:18 PM
I wasn't even a big fan of the avengers to begin with. I've loved every other movie Marvel Studios have released, especially 'The Incredible Hulk'. I'm hoping avengers 2 will be better than the first. Do I have to blindly love everything I see that has to do with MCU?
MrCBM56 - 2/21/2014, 1:19 PM
Uh, that's cool.
HeisenbergSaysRelax - 2/21/2014, 1:20 PM
They use the practical head just for test shots so when the CG artists go in and do their work they have a baseline for how the lighting needs to fall on the CG model. The practical effect is never actually seen by the audience. It's a tool used purely for helping with the CG and lighting the CG models. That's it's entire purpose.
MrCBM56 - 2/21/2014, 1:21 PM

Just because you're getting a sequel to something doesn't mean you have to like everything about it.
MrCBM56 - 2/21/2014, 1:22 PM
They used this prop because later in post, when they add the CG hulk, they know where he's suppose to be.
SpiderFraud - 2/21/2014, 1:22 PM
I wonder if they gonna keep the monkey stance from the first movie, I hope they don't.
JediSuperGuy83 - 2/21/2014, 1:22 PM
whats the hulk in phase 2 been doing aside from ruining post credit scenes and chasing Lex Luthor
Bekss - 2/21/2014, 1:28 PM
It's just a piece of utilery to help in the scenes. Why are you whining?
"They change the color"
"He's too old"
What a bunch of a-holes
TheManFromMars - 2/21/2014, 1:29 PM

MrCBM56 - 2/21/2014, 1:30 PM
WTF Gusto?!?! Everyone knows chocolate icing is better.
jrp6048 - 2/21/2014, 1:31 PM
Finally found a couple of guys stronger than the Hulk
Bekss - 2/21/2014, 1:33 PM

I don't even know what to say.
FirstAvenger - 2/21/2014, 1:34 PM
Lol ManFromMars!
JustThwipIt - 2/21/2014, 1:35 PM
Oh guys C'mon!! It's just a Fricking plaster. I can't believe some are already complaining about the wrinkles in his face, he's angry how else would his face be. At least they painted it a little. The sun is fully illuminating Hulk's face that explains the light green tone.

Imagine if it was white, CBM would collapse lol.
