Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014.

Off topic but just saw ASM2 and it was very mediocre, bad pacing and too many sub-plots. Oh and worst post credit scene ever!
InfiniteMonkey - 4/17/2014, 6:42 AM
These look awesome.

Kyos - 4/17/2014, 6:56 AM
These don't look too good imo. But hey, guess I can't be psyched about everything regarding this movie. ^^

rockerdude22 - 4/17/2014, 7:15 AM
Fun fact: Brooks put that joke in because George Lucas said he could make the movie as long as there wasn't any merchandising involved lol
Klone - 4/17/2014, 7:19 AM
The only thing that has me remotely intrigued by this dogshit is Ronan...
Doopie - 4/17/2014, 7:22 AM

AlexanderLykins - 4/17/2014, 7:32 AM

bropous - 4/17/2014, 7:47 AM
You watch, the "zero tolerance" idiots in the schools will ban the Rocket Raccoon lunchboxes because he is carrying a gun.

Mark my words.
Gamera623 - 4/17/2014, 7:50 AM
@yoss
You saw Grand Budapest Hotel but dont plan on seeing Godzilla, Planet of the Apes or the Hobbit finale?
I never even heard of GBH. I need to consult google now. :)
MisterNiceGuy - 4/17/2014, 7:57 AM
[frick] man, where is the damn trailer for this movie. The GA needs to understand what the hell is going on before they decide to go see it. They aren't marketing this movie very well
Lozzy - 4/17/2014, 7:58 AM
@MisterNiceGuy

A trailer has been released.
MrMartinMarvel - 4/17/2014, 7:59 AM
@MisterNiceGuy

MisterNiceGuy - 4/17/2014, 8:28 AM
Yes guys, I have seen that. I do not consider that a trailer. Its more of an extended teaser. It doesn't explain a single thing about the plot. Its even hard to tell who the bad/good guys are. Obviously WE know whats going on, WE know who the villains are, but the GA does not.
ATrueHero1987 - 4/17/2014, 8:46 AM
@MisterNiceGuy What are you talking about?! That IS a trailer. It has been shown in theaters already.

And how do you know what GA knows and doesn't know?
BoomTubeB - 4/17/2014, 9:10 AM
No underoos?
soforizo - 4/17/2014, 9:11 AM
Say what you will, but it will appeal to kids though. So it's smart marketing.
NoPhucksGiven - 4/17/2014, 9:18 AM
great...
Neek2086 - 4/17/2014, 9:23 AM
More kids are talking about TMNT then GOTG.. I wish they would push TMNT back or move Guardians up a week so they can have some breathing room.
MisterNiceGuy - 4/17/2014, 10:14 AM
@AtrueHero, because it doesn't explain shit. That's how. If you didn't read the comics or hang out in sites like this you can honestly tell me you grasp what the hell is going on from that "trailer"?

And the fact that it is shown in theaters doesn't mean a single thing. I recall the MOS teaser being shown in theaters as well.
