Taking advantage of promotion for the actors' roles in the upcoming Godzilla movie, Collider is the latest to speak with Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson about their super roles as the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. During the video interview, the stars were first asked about the inevitable multi-picture deals that they signed with Marvel Studos. "That was never part of it," said Johnson of the longterm contract. "I didn’t have any issues, but there were more important things to me about it in terms of our characters and what we can bring to it." Olsen chimed in, "And our characters are still continuing to change and grow. It actually just keeps getting cooler... [Marvel] cares a lot." Johnson then added, "Yeah, they totally delivered. They’re protective. It’s their own characters. They’ve got so much knowledge you work from, and there’s a backstory with these two characters. Where they grew up and how they grew up and how they’re affected by that, so we’re trying to bring as much into it, as much as we can."

When asked about the Eastern European accents for the Twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, Aaron Taylor-Johnson started, "Well, it's funny because—," before Elizabeth Olsen stopped him, laughing. "Are you really going to answer that?  SHHHHH!" she whispered. "It's subject to change," continued the Quicksilver actor. "Always do reshoots."

The pair then talked about working with Avengers: Age of Ultron writer/director Joss Whedon and what it's like being the new additions to the established ensemble. "I find [Whedon] to be very specific, and he knows exactly what he needs, and when he gets it, you move on," said Olsen. "And he’s fun. He’s an excited kid. You feel like you’re in good hands also. Everyone at Marvel is fun to hang out with. They’re all great. I’m having a blast. I’m having so much fun right now. I can’t wait to go back." Johnson said, "I think Joss has got such a mad ball of energy.  I haven’t even seen the half of it." "I do feel like the new kid on the block, though," admits Elizabeth. "I do feel like that too," Aaron agreed. "We move so quick and just try to get used to the character. We’ve done it four times now." "We're definitely the new kids on the block, which is definitely a fun feeling. And it's intimidating but awesome," added the Scarlet Witch actress.

As for the Avengers: Age of Ultron set photos, many of which revealed our first looks at Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and even Jeremy Renner all in their superhero garb for the Marvel sequel in March. When asked if they were aware of the paparazzi shots from the Italy shoot, Olsen said, "We're aware because there's a publicist on set literally always checking blogs." Taylor-Johnson suggests it's also the security that keeps them aware. "It's kind of great because they're conscious of it," he said. "They know everything," says Olsen. "The security knows everything. They’ll know where the photographers are and then they’ll discover some other exit of the building, and then they’ll never get a shot. But when we were filming in Italy, we were filming in town squares so because of the apartments, you can’t kick people out of their apartments." Pharrel Williams has been doing shit for a while and a lot of it has been good...but seriously What the [frick] is up with that hat...He looks like a deck hand on Captain Crunch's Ship.

And Pharrel had a part in the song for one of the best vids to usher in the 90's.

ATrueHero1987 - 5/5/2014, 9:28 AM
@McNyagano lol, good one!

Who's this Pharell racist?
ComicsBornAndBred - 5/5/2014, 9:35 AM
Quicksilver looks TERRIBLE! I love Marvel, Joss and everything but---not liking the look. Maybe post-production will fix it.
PANTHER93 - 5/5/2014, 9:36 AM
So I guess wakanda's in avengers 2 tweet from -Drew McWeeny (@DrewAtHitFix)
05/05/2014 04:05 am
@elmayimbe Wakanda's in the film, but as of the start of production, Black Panther wasn't. They left the door open, though.
Gusto - 5/5/2014, 9:42 AM

loki668 - 5/5/2014, 9:49 AM
You're right, Gusto. I think that this film is going to have a hard time competing with the new Fantastic Four film. The cast and story are going to be hard for Whedon to beat.
thewonderer - 5/5/2014, 9:49 AM
@McNyagano

It was a joke comment. Jesus, I wish Michael Fassbender was my father for petes sake!

Honest ComicBookMoviesFans,

I liked the Winter soldier as much as Ironman and even a little bit more than The Avengers. I think that the production, script, music, acting, CGI, everything is top notch quality.

But let us be honest and objective here, Marvel Studios Supremacists Fanboy are overreacting claiming "It will out gross Amazing Spiderman 2, it has out grossed Man of Steel, it has out grossed Thor 2, it will out gross X-men DOFP"

You may be right but you have to put things in perspective and be realist and objective:

¿What competition had The Winter soldier to face? ¿Tough? Let us see and compare:

Captain America the Winter Soldier: Apr 4
One week later April 11: Rio 2 (mediocre movie the fifth highest grossing movie of blue sky studios that has not even surpassed the first Rio)
Two weeks later April 18: Transcendence (first feature film for an unknown/untested director and a recently bomb office star Johnny Depp)
Three weeks later April 25: The Other Woman (a mediocre comedy that I am only mentioning because there is nothing else close)
Four weeks later May 2: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (finally!)
-------------------------------------------------------------- VERSUS

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
One week later May 9: Legends of Oz: Dorothy's return (no competition here)
Two weeks later May 15: Godzilla (Oh boy this is REAL competition and this movie is going for the big bucks!)
Three weeks later May 23: X-Men: Days of Future Past (greatest budget FOX movie behind Avatar wow! even more tough competition for spidey!!!)
Four Weeks Later May 30: Maleficent (Disney’s Movie Princess wow good bye Spidey!)
-------------------------------------------------------------- VERSUS

Man of Steel: Jun 14
One week later Jun 21: World War Z and Monsters University (Need I say more? Those were two big blockbusters!!! And just one week later!!!!)
-------------------------------------------------------------- VERSUS

Thor: The Dark World: Nov 8
2 weeks later Nov 22: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (wow one of the biggest blockbusters of 2013, Thor had not much chance!)

So:

-Thor 2 had 2 weeks to breathe before tough competition, well deserved box office

-The Amazing Spider-Man 2 weeks to make some cash before it gets toughest competition ever with 3 big box office stealers

-X-Men DOFP has immediate competition the next week with Maleficent and then around the corner comes Edge of tomorrow and How to train your dragon 2 and transformers 4. X-Men has not chance at all in that spot, has a lot of competition

-Man of Steel had immediate competition with World War Z (we know how it turned out; the highest grossing Zombie film ever!!! + Power star Brad Pitt) and Monsters University (let’s face it Pixar is the King of animated movies and this was another real MONSTER at the box office) so MOS did very well, the return of the King baby!

-Captain America The Winter Soldier: the greatest comic book movie of the year so far here to me but let us be honest; CATWS had no REAL competition for over 4 weeks!!!!

It would have been a shame if it did not surpass both Thor 2 and MOS which had real competition ahead and just a week to breath before other Monsters came claiming more box office.
I am not taking away the greatness of CATWS but let us not pretend like it did not have the best release spot of the year (NO COMPETITION AT ALL).
And if you want to diminish MOS compare it against the first movie of each super hero:

MOS vs. Ironman
MOS vs. Thor
MOS vs. The incredible Hulk
MOS vs. Captain America the First Avenger
MOS vs. Avengers does not count (as this is a team against just one super hero, once JLA comes out that would be compared vs. Avengers)

That is a fair competition as we are talking “First Phase Movies” remember people compare Apples vs. Apples and Oranges vs. Oranges, not Apples vs. Oranges!!!
But of course you won’t compare them as MOS destroyed first phase films and we do not like fair comparisons do we?

CATWS faced babys in diapers when all the other movies faced/are going to face against MMA fighters!!!

My two cents ; )
MsDarkPhoenix - 5/5/2014, 10:03 AM
I'm getting more and more excited for the twins everytime!! I already was but now I'm super duper excited!!!
