As promised, Netflix have released the first official trailer for Jessica Jones. Featuring a ton of new footage, and a strong hint at what the show's narrative will be like, it's a great tease. Highlights? Seeing our titular heroine's superhuman abilities and David Tennant's terrifying villain.

"God didn't do this, the Devil did. And I'm gonna find him."

It's finally here! Netflix have officially released the first full trailer for Jessica Jones - and it's a beauty! Featuring a whole host of unseen footage, we finally get to see Krysten Ritter's formidable heroine showing off a few of her abilities - to Mike Colter's Luke Cage no less! As for the rest of the trailer, it easily looks like Marvel's darkest project yet, thanks, largely, to David Tennant's menacing villain, 'Kilgrave', who "leaves a trail of broken people behind him" and a lasting impact on both Jessica and (no doubt) the audience too. Check it out and leave your thoughts below!

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

All thirteen episodes of Jessica Jones will be released November 20 on Netflix.

Wow. This has to be the sickest corner of the MCU. Can't wait!
On a side note, another Marvel detective would be worth a TV series… Howard the Duck.
Funny to think Jessica Jones and him actually live in the same universe.

DAVID [frick]ING TENNANT!! HE'S TERRIFYING! Gonna be the best MCU villian to date after thi! He's taking the mantle from Loki and Kingpin. The vibe he gives off in this trailer.

His vibe here reminds me of Alex from a CLOCKWORK ORANGE

This show looks like it go hard. Can't wait! Marvel keep upping the ante

That looked great!

Very dark and a little creepy.

Krysten Ritter is going to kill the role, she was very good in the little bit of footage shown here. That scene where she said "but he's always in here" really stood out.

And Mike Colter as Luke Cage is perfect; can't believe I doubted it.

Seems to me that Netflix have better villains than the MCU. At least in the way they are writing them.

Calling it now, David Tennant as the Purple Man is gonna be in the same league as Loki and The Kingpin as one of the MCU's best villains.
