the concept art actually looks better than the suit shown at comic con. i hope it looks better in action than it did just standing there

The more I see this armor, the more and more I like it. I do appreciate that they are going for different looks to vary up Stark's collection.

I'm sure there'll be a Mark IX in IM3 that goes back to a more classic color scheme... or maybe not, who knows.

Seriously, the armor looks good. For you purists, Iron Man wore a solid Gold suit for a pretty good chunk of time. Plus he's still got Red in it, Tony Stark is even more of a super star after saving the world, so I think that the gold fits

Probably for camouflage.. You usually wouldn't see people driving red tanks around deserts now do you?
Also, these Dredd popup ads are getting pretty annoying

I have no clue, I'm pretty sure this is the extremis armor though. Unless this is his post- Avengers suit for half of the movie, and then it's extremis for the second half. Just from how separated the pieces are, I'm willing to bet money that this is extremis.

I like it because it's different. The best thing about the Iron Man armor is if you don't like this one, another one will be along soon.

I'm sure if they come out with the stealth armor some will complain about too much black. Lol

Firs time when i saw the suit i did not really like it then later on i kinda did liked and naw whan i saw it in action, it looks awesome .

The concept art is awesome and can't wait to see the actual armor in action. I keep liking this armor more and more. Despite the lack of so much red it's actually looking really cool

I love the look of this armour its fresh and new im sick of seeing the sam style armour with a few tweeks tony has always changed his armour look and colour

It actually looks better in this image...well, in general, the armor indeed has grown on me; but still, I'd prefer it to have more red - particularly on the chest plate, shoulder armors, and boots.



That way, it will have more Bleeding Edge feel to it, IMO. I believe it will work well in the movie, though.

Yeah, I hope this new Extremis armor's color palette will be exclusive to this suit only, and future suits will revert back to the Red > Gold idea.

But part of me kind of wants to see a black or midnight blue suit...

@DateSparda I believe that comic cons use some kind of tech that prevents any camera from working when it is activated, namely during the showing of footage they don't want leaked. Kinda like a signal jammer of sorts.

I think this is just another briefcase suit and not the extremis suit. Wouldnt really be upset if it was the extremis suit tho
