pretty meh with lots of boring parts and underdeveloped plot and back story. Idris carries this turd on his back and provides the only speck of heart the film has.

other than that this movie was freaking AMAZING!!!
best CGI ever!
def. MY cbm of the YEAR! with MOS right behind it..
this movie was cool! charlie did a good job
and idris also did a good job

Yes..IM 1 is great,IM 2 is only good & IM 3 is crap.

Pacific Rim is a great film,cool action,great visuals..decent story & acting.
Sorry Michael Bay,this movie shows how robots kicking ass should be done.

hats off to del Toro. Pacific Rim had the most spectacular action scenes in any movie this summer.. they made the repetitive building-crumbling in mediocre of steel look even more uninspired and dull...

Astonishing closing credits, indeed. Same goes to the second act battle sequence, and overall visuals. A perfect way to feel being a kid again, though it's got a lot of flaws as well; but, judging from my own expectations, it still delivers big time...OK, except for Charlie Hunnam, maybe.

Oh, I really want to talk about other 2013 movies, too, but...this just doesn't seem to be the right place! :)

Agree with the first comment,Pacific Rim was a "meh" movie :S,no story,no characters developments,just a CGI videogame,I'm pretty disappoint.

I agree with the first comment, too. Pacific Rim was a "meh" movie. The only memorable line is Idris' "Today, we are canceling the apocalypse!" and Idris' (I'm paraphrasing) "2 things. 1, don't ever touch me again. And 2, don't you ever touch me again."

Silvestris score was crap! The worst score of any blockbuster movie in the last 10 years.....say what you like about the movie but the score was just bland and forgettable

I saw it a few hours ago, PR is amazing, awesome, excellent effects , best machine/monster fights ever and a good plot in middle, doesnt dissapointed me. Best movie in 4DX , wind, water and chair movements effects were very accurate with movie ( Can't tell same with Man of Steel movie).
I will see it twice this week.
When RorMachine say wasn't good due to actors performance maybe he wanted to see Tom Cruise or John Travolta instead of Charlie Hunnam, but .... was better not to have well known actors.
