I could care less what Wedom says. I'm still waiting on Footage, production photos, bts photos or concept art.
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 10:08 PM
Really hope the cowl will look something like this.

WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:13 PM
@JD25 ^^^^ nice mock up. I think the lenses should be HUD lenses though.

Batman needs his modern tech. Times have changed. It's believable more than ever now.
Galaxy - 8/23/2013, 10:17 PM
@JDUKE25- Thats [frick]in badass. All these photoshop images of Ben as Batman has been restoring my faith on WB choosing him. I think we should just a make an article full of photoshopped images of Ben as Batman to show people he can pull it off!
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 10:18 PM
@WAYNE I did one but I found this one on deviantart. I definitely want him to have different style lenses at his disposal.
typicalfanboy - 8/23/2013, 10:19 PM

@JDUKE25 - nice. don't want them ears too big

ALegendaryPanda - 8/23/2013, 10:32 PM
THANK YOU WHEDON! At least SOMEBODY has some god damn sense around here.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:33 PM
New 52 suit or similar. I mean the cap stealth suit is the super soldier right out of the books.
Jollem - 8/23/2013, 10:33 PM
can't wait to see see batman done in snydervision

HeroWithAThousandFaces - 8/23/2013, 10:33 PM
Way to be positive, Whedon! Why can't there be more enthusiastic fellows like him?
miklonus - 8/23/2013, 10:36 PM
"I could care less what Wedom says." First post nails it. Who gives a F_CK what Whedon says?
SageMode - 8/23/2013, 10:37 PM
Its Still gonna suck.
miklonus - 8/23/2013, 10:39 PM
There's a problem there, Jollem, Man Of Steel wasn't a Snyder movie. It can't be done in his vision if he has no control over the movie.

He clearly has no hand in casting, editing, story, or anything else. What power he does have doesn't include the power to veto ideas, that's for sure.

Only two remotely slow-motion scenes I remember in Man Of Steel, and that was Cavill walking out of the ship, and Zod doing a Dragon Ball/anime float as he (somehow with no hands it looked like) took off his armor to float/levitate/rise to fight Superman.
Jollem - 8/23/2013, 10:43 PM
@miklonus - yeah, pretty sure MoS was a snyder movie. yes, he has a hand in making his movies, for he is the director of his movies. that's kinda what the job entails. who said anything about slo-mo? not me. anyway, batman is gonna be so kick-ass in snydervision!
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:44 PM
Yea Snyder will do a bad-ass batman. His B
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:45 PM
Yea Snyder will do a bad-ass batman. His Batman will be way more badass than his Superman.
3DWitchHunt - 8/23/2013, 10:47 PM
So [frick]ing happy that we'll finally get the expert martial artist Batman
Snyder now NEEDS to make him a genius and we're all set
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 10:48 PM

Here was mine. Just edited from that Daredevil pic with the Batsymbol in the clouds.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:48 PM
I think the action scenes should be filmed like the action scenes portrayed in the animated films Under the Red Hood and the Dark Knight Returns pt 1&2. That's how batman should move, fight, act and sound.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:50 PM
@JD25 I actually saved that to my phone after seeing it in the other thread. Good job bro. I think it helps advance the though that he looks like bats and I like the grey and black instead of all black.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:50 PM
Thought*
Jollem - 8/23/2013, 10:51 PM
@JDUKE25 - sexy
3DWitchHunt - 8/23/2013, 10:53 PM
JDUKE25
Nice

I wonder if the costume'll be all black and grey or if there'll be some yellow and blue thrown in there
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 10:55 PM

Updated with less shine on the suit.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:57 PM
HE LOOKS MORE LIKE BRUCE THAN BALE!

YOU CAN'T READ THE BOOKS IF YOU CANT SEE THAT.

HE PROBABLY LOOKS MORE LIKE BRUCE THAN ANY OTHER ACTOR HAS.

WITH HIS HAIR STYLED AND A NICE SHAVE AND MOVIE MAGIC HE WILL LOOK VERY SOURCE ACCURATE.

IT'S THE ACTING I WANT DONE RIGHT!!
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:58 PM
I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE STUBBLE IN THE COWL THOUGH.
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 10:59 PM
I really hope it's black and grey/dark grey. I'm tired of the Black on Black look. I want it more comicbooklike.

I get that all black helps with hiding in the shadows, but it's not that big a deal if it's dark grey. Besides, what if there's a little bit of light and it's not pitch black, the whole suit being black might actually stand out more. It can be grey and if he wants to be completely black he can cover himself with the cape.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 10:59 PM
Playboy charm will be easy for him u think though.
WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 11:05 PM
He should cloak himself in the cape anyways when being stealthy.

At least that's how he does in the comics.
Jollem - 8/23/2013, 11:07 PM
navy blue is better for hiding in the dark, apparently. pure black makes you stand out more
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 11:12 PM
After two Arkham games and another one on the way, if they don't take any influence from that I'll be severely disappointed.
JDUKE25 - 8/23/2013, 11:14 PM

Doesn't this look like Affleck. Well, at least that chin lol.
Jollem - 8/23/2013, 11:15 PM
the news for MoS 2 is gonna have me all like...

WAYNE - 8/23/2013, 11:40 PM
I'm not going to go as far as to say Im not saying Whedon's opinion doesn't matter. It obviously does seeing as he has a filmmaking insight mbut just becaus he says something doesn't make his word law.
Banner - 8/23/2013, 11:41 PM
I'll reserve my judgement on Ben, and Marvel should cast Christian Bale as Daredevil.
mithiama - 8/23/2013, 11:45 PM
For all the people who doubt affleck do you honestly think that daredevil was his fault? he was cast he was told to act a certain way and he was given a script he did that. the only thing i was worried abt was the physique and i'm sure Zack snyder is gonna make sure he looks like batman. besides that i think hes perfect i dont know why ppl are complaining. and besides warner brothers like every otheer company is out to make money and im sure they are fully aware that if they screw this up their plans for future dc movies are going to be delayed significantly and marvel will get considerably ahead of them.
charlie2094 - 8/23/2013, 11:47 PM
Thank you! The amount of negativity over casting a top actor/director into a role that he looks the part for, is ridiculous. Hopefully this will help sway some minds at least. Probably felt the need to write something.

Affleck will be great, what he did 10 years ago doesn't mean a think.
