In some ways, I'd say that the Avengers was more grounded than TDKR. In how the characters interact etc. Still both are great films!

Still love that scene from TDKR:

*About safe.* Catwoman: No one told me it was unbreakable.

Remember when you saw that big pile of chocolate doughnuts and you knew you shouldn't eat them?, you know... because you'd feel guilty afterwards!.
Well this video is that chocolate doughnut!.

DON'T EAT THE DOUGHNUT !!!.

I want my movies grounded in reality like this!

Avengers Vs. Godzilla, Earth's mightiest heroes face the king of monsters!
Shawarma Road, The Fab Four of 2012
Run Bubble Girl Run!

Grounded in reality? Seriously? It's a movie about "super" humans. This movie was so far superior to TDKR, and I absolutely LOVED TDKR. But, the truth is, I could sit and watch this movie ten times and have a blast each time. There's no way I want to sit through TDKR more than once more in my living room. It was okay, but The Avengers has now set the bar so high that all other superhero movies suffer by comparison.

I felt that the Price for the Briefcase was steep, but it was a good deal. Now I realize it's an excellent [frick]ing deal! I had to buy a book for school, costed $456.34 Used off of Ebay... The Used College Book Store down the street had it for $527.99 used and new is $600.00.

6 movies in Blu-Ray slipped inside 6 unique fan-art made sleeves showcasing iconic scenes from each film with collectible SHIELD Files and a replica Tesseract enclosed inside a SHIELD Briefcase... Yeah, putting it in a line-up with my current purchases, this thing is a [frick]ing steal.

Joss Whedon did a great job with the Avengers, but as great as that film was, it could have easily gone the other way. I'm not entirely taken by the fact he's directing Avengers 2.
