Rachel Weisz gets caught on the set of THE BOURNE LEGACY while filming. Although no great specifics about her character have been revealed, studio insiders have said that she is "an operative from a covert government program that is even more dangerous than the Treadstone brainwashing program that hatched Bourne (Jeremy Renner)". That smells like a love interest to me.

The fourth film in the series, Legacy will be the first since Matt Damon's recent departure. Assuming the role of a yet unnamed agent, Jeremy Renner will pick up the mantle, playing opposite the villainous Edward Norton.

Although these first few photos don't reveal much, it's still great to know that production has finally begun.

On April 2, 2011, Latino Review reported that Jeremy Renner is expected to headline the new film.[19] Renner will allegedly be playing a new character. Rachel Weisz is in talks, and may be the love interest.[20] Actor Edward Norton is said to be in talks to play the film's villain.[21] On May 28, 2011, screenwriter and director Tony Gilroy had chosen Manila as location for The Bourne Legacy. Gilroy said that 40 percent of the film will be shot in Manila. In August 2011 it was announced that actor Scott Glenn would reprise his role in the film.[22]

i think jeremy renner is playing bourne but if meant matt damon not playing him then yeah it sucks.
bourne ultimatum was my favorite of the series so far.

when is this movie suppose to come out?

also how is renner filming avengers & bourne seemingly at the same time?

WOW!!! Rachel looks out-of-this-world-ly BEAUTIFUL.

i don't know if she can do action stuff...but, if she can, she'll be AWESOME. she's got that badass quality to her look. actually, if she's a little younger, i think SHE should be the Black Widow, instead of Scarlett.

and let's see...Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz...woww...this Bourne's gonna be acting showdown epic.
