I think the script could have done with more revisions. But if you've read the comic, I think you'll like the ending.

@thanos83 I'd give the animation 4/5. It does look a bit too similar to Young Justice at times, otherwise I thought it was good.

I'd definitely mark this one as one of the DCs best ones yet. The animation was better than i expected along with the performances as well.

It was ok... but no where near as good as Crisis on Two Earths.

The villains were silly and abit dumb at times.... if Bane just killed batman they would have succeeded.... but i guess you could say that in almost any story.

And the guy who done Cyborgs voice was bad.

I think DC should take their animated crew and put them on a live action project. What do they have to lose, I think we all know TDKR will make Aton on $$ and if man of steel goes the way of GL then I don't see any other DC character getting a live action movie.

Good review another for my collection.

If you read the comic Tower Of Babel which this movie is based on. Then you know Batman Resigned from the Justice League. And you would know that every member of the league even Superman voted to kick Batman out. This movie id a good job at getting as close to the comics storyline as possible. So honestly I don't see how this was cheesy at all.

Uh, I thought this film was disappointing, i think the story feels rushed through, I actually prefer the other justice league movies over this one.

Interesting concept taken from the comics, but really poor execution and no real focus on the characters made the film seem kinda pointless to me.

it did have some very cheesy lines in it, but it was pretty good. Batman was awesome as always. My favorite Animated DC films is still Gotham Knight and Under the Red Hood

I know it's kinda the norm for all animated cbm but damn 75mins is just not long enough, everything feels too rushed, another 20-30 mins could have told a much better story in my opinion.

One of there best, just hoping they now do something that does not involve Batman or Superman.

This took the taste out my mouth that Ghostrider 2 had put there.

I'll be buying this when it hits Shelves.

As for Batmans Plan he was right and wrong. Batman should have told the league about his plans so that everyone could vote beforehand, instead he went behind there backs and did it. So he had the right idea but went about it the wrong way.

Since the spoilers have been thrown out there, no worries. But Star not killing Hal made perfect sense, she wants to hurt him not kill him, plus killing Green Lantern would just make another Green Lantern of Sector 2844 show up. Manhunter's and Flash's demises were all but certain so that made perfect sense. Metallo shooting Superman and not following up was iffy. He would assume the bullet would make him weak so the shot and the fall from the top of a building for a weakened Supes seemed enough to kill him, plus he had no way of knowing if the other superheroes were taking care of or not so just leaving is acceptable. And Bane, they explain that wanted to humiliate Batman and wanted to rub it in. Sure he could have done more damage, but how often do you hear about buried alive people escaping (granted its the GD Batman!) It wasn't perfect, but by no means bad. And the ending, awesome! Batman is justified and leaves just like in the source material. If the League doesn't understand his motives, it makes sense why he would leave.

Not as good as All Star Superman, and the climax lamed out, but good story and voices. ***3 Stars

Good review buddy.

I'm not too excited by the pics we have seen so far, the animation looks poor, when compared to the original Batman animated series.

What annoys me, is why they keep making these movies at just over 1 hr 15, where as the standard live action movies are on average over an hour longer.

I for one would love to see the batman story "son of the demon" given the animated movie treatment!

Agreed , this was a solid one.

Just to get my gripes outta the way, I dident care for the art style, it seemed a little anime and Superman especially came across a bit feminine, I wish they would have made the style a bit more like the Bruce Timm way, more square jawed and masculine.
Also they seem to have their flash's mixed up, he looked, talked, acted and sounded like Wally but then it showed him as Barry under the mask, huh?
Those are my gripes now what worked.

It was a solid story albeit not exactly from the comics but still good. By most of these animated features I feel 75 minutes is too litlle and I feel lacking, but this one managed to feel solid and move swiftly without feeling rushed.
The heroes were portrayed nicely, what usually irks me is since people complain Superman is too powerful they try to compensate by making him a push over, this was a major flaw in the JL tv show, Superman who is supposedly the most powerful hero was constantly getting his ass handed to him. This however wasent done over here, one of my favorite parts in the movie was when Superman effortlessly took down Ace in the beginning, I actually cheered out loud for that one, lol.
Another mention is Green Lantern, in the other JL movie, crisis on two earths, he was majorly disregereded, Im glad he got his moments in this one cuz he really is a very cool character.

All in all this was definitely one of the better ones, since there have been a couple of real stinkers recently,(Superman all star, uhhghh), not the best but right under my top three.

1. Green Lantern first flight.
2. Superman Batman public enemies.
3. Batman under the red hood.
4. Jl doom

Solid animation. But, not a great adaptation of the story.
It plays like its a JLA: Year One. The cockiness and ineptitude of the League (AND the villains) are full tilt. Nor, does it take advantage of its PG-13 rating for its older fans. That said, its not the worst try, but fans are wildly aware that they can do better. Step it up. 3 out of 5 Stars.
