Last week we learned that Black Canary (Alaina Huffman) will return for the
Smallville season finale. Today, entertainment journalist Micheal Ausiello has revealed that the heroine is not the only fan favorite character making a comeback.
The May 14th episode will mark the return of
Abosolute Justice heroes Hawkman and Stargirl, respectively played by Michael Shanks and Britt Irvin.
Three Justice Society members were killed off in the
Smallville: Absolute Justice special, Dr. Fate, the Star Spangled Kid and the Sandman. No word has been released yet if the other Golden Age DC heroes Ted Grant (Wildcat), Jay Garrick (the Flash) and Alan Scott (Green Lantern) referenced in the show will make appearances.
Another addition to the already full cast will be Clark's half-human/half-machine friend Cyborg (portrayed by Lee Thompson Young); who will also guest star in the episode.
Fans of the show will be relieved to know the final tidbit Ausiello revealed: though a main Smallville character will bite the dust on the show's season finale, it undoubtedly will not be Clark Kent or Lex Luthor.
