There is really no doubt that the Riddler will be the main villain in the next Batman movie but the question is who should play this iconic role. There are many roles that are fan favories of who should play this character here are some of those candidates.
Johnny Depp is probably the best choice because he is a veteran actor who brings a sort of strange quality to his characters. He is one of the best actors today and I think he would do the the role.
jared Leto is sort of a back up plan in case Depp doesn't do it he is a great actor and would be a great Riddler. This also a good choice in case you don't want an A list actor and someone who is not as well known.
Jeremy Renner is a great actor and is a fan favorite for this role he could pull off the role as a tough guy who is also a master genius. He could be a different Riddler but he would be epic in the role.
Neal Patrick Harris now this is a very controversial choice because some people think that having a comedian on this movie it would end up like Jim Carey on Batman Forever but I think he would be decent. This Riddler would be a more comical character but not to the Carey extreme though. I think with guidance from Nolan and the rest of the cast this could work.
Ben Foster this choice is one I thought of and I think it would be great Foster is one of my favorite villain actors and he would be brilliant in this role. This guy can play some real strange people and he would pull off this role with ease.
