In an article concerning Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige's recent comments about female-led comic book movies, Devin Faraci also dropped a tantalizing tidbit about a potential female cameo in
Avengers: Age of Ultron:
"I have information about multiple drafts of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and all feature a cameo by a character the script calls Ms. Marvel (nothing else, including a civilian name or basic look, is specified). It's a cameo, so it could change at any time, but the character is planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
While including the usual caveat of how scripts are subject to change, it would seem that Devin is pretty certain that the Ms. Marvel character is being prepped for a solo outing sometime in Phase 3 or beyond. Is the
Avengers sequel going to be our first glimpse of these plans? We'll have to wait until summer of next year to find out for sure!
Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

So I came to comicbookmovie.com as a lurker around 2011, when the hype machine was beginning to build for both The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. Needless to say, the epic flame wars that arose during that time pretty much guaranteed that I'd STAY as a lurker...until I finally couldn't help myself from joining the conversation and spouting off my opinions for everyone to see.
So here I am, a few years later, and I'm only now deciding to write something here. I figured I'd open some windows and shed some light on what actually makes me tick...because I'm sure everyone is DYING to know.
I like good movies, good shows, good debates, and good people. Simple, no?
