Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after “The Extinction War,” when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas.

Stars: Luke Allen-Gale, Carl Beukes, Alan Dale,  Christopher Egan, Chris Fisher, Shivani Ghai, Rosalind Halstead and Anthony Head.

LEEE777 - Dominion debuts June 19 at 9/8c on the Syfy channel. IDW Publishing brought out a 4 issue mini-series called Legion: Prophets.

Legion was one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life. Will not be checking this out.

Does anyone know if they canceled Defiance? i quite liked that series

Gyasiman @ Just because the feature film sucked doesn't mean this will, I'm deff checking it out and I wasn't much of a fan of the movie.

Dios @ Don't think so man, Revolution got canceled but Defiance hasn't?
Dios - 6/1/2014, 3:32 PM
@lee Thanks friend! that's too bad about Revolution though, i enjoyed that series as well
BlindJustice - 6/1/2014, 3:37 PM
Defiance is an excellent show, but is about to start it's 2nd Season. Revolution didn't make it to it's 3rd Season...so we'll see what Defiance does. The fact that Defiance also has an online game keeps it popular year round also.

This show looks interesting, so my family will give it a shot. The movie was decent, but could've been much better.

With scenes like that one... How could they cancel it?
Dios - 6/1/2014, 3:51 PM
@BlindJustice

Amen to that!

Defience initially received a 2season order straight up, possibly because it was tied into that game launch, so it was always going to get 2 seasons, hopefully season 2 will be as good as 1 and it will get renewed for a third.
BlindJustice - 6/1/2014, 4:07 PM
@seamuskeaneart - Agreed.

@Dios - Hallelujah! Heh.

This looks very solid. Syfy has some decent content right now, just waiting for Helix to be more consistent next season.

I hope the show does well and such.

The movie?
Dear God it was one of the BIGGEST let downs in cinema to me.... EVER :-/

It could have been soooOOoOoOoo much MORE.
I remember seeing the movie trailers for it and it looked VERY cool.
Sad part was....
98% of the great stuff in the movie was IN THE FRIGGIN trailers :-(

loki668 - 6/2/2014, 2:01 AM
I bet they kill a lot of angels during football season

I liked Legion, though they could've done more. This actually looks promising. Like the upgrade for movies to shows in the vein of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Beastmaster, and even Blade (well with the story at least).
