davideodus - 12/19/2013, 9:59 PM

PENANCE ?
CaptainObvious - 12/19/2013, 10:01 PM
Really scraping the bottom of the barrel, huh Marvel?
PsychoManiacJacky - 12/19/2013, 10:04 PM
It's because they are the main characters of this show. Like it or not they are characters we are meant to follow. It's called Agents of Shield not Agents of Marvel. Which is why I think everyone is upset with this show just because of the new characters they have created and the lack of heroes or references. I think it's great how they are developing these characters throughout and not making them typically one dimensional. It's a broader experience to learn about them not just to see them in action constantly. I will agree the start of it has been lackluster from the pilot. If it was just the pilot being the only episode of this so far I would say it's going to get nowhere at all. But in fair terms it is starting to improve greatly. We are finally getting into more real intense drama and emotions. If you want your show about heroes watch Arrow. If you want your show about original characters and original stories watch Agents of Shield.

Who??? WHO???????
Gamma022 - 12/19/2013, 11:01 PM

DynamicDynamo - 12/19/2013, 11:05 PM
The actor is 12 that's playing him
Gamma022 - 12/19/2013, 11:11 PM
@0megaDaGod, My mistake
Lozzy - 12/19/2013, 11:30 PM
why is he being played by a 16 year old kid?
QuestiontheAnswer - 12/20/2013, 12:57 AM
Beacause everyone really wanted to see Blizzard on AoS. I mean everyone was petitioning and having riots outside Marvel Studios saying "we [frick]ing need Blizzard."
Masterpace - 12/20/2013, 1:14 AM
@0megaDaGod

It's easy they will probably screw this up...Like Grif would say- but without any evidence- Shit show.
Tyrus - 12/20/2013, 1:15 AM
So they bring an Iron Man rogue to AoS only to possibly ruin him like Whiplash and The Mandarin? I really don't want to sound like a hater, but this is... Messed up. Again.
ManOfKrypton - 12/20/2013, 1:18 AM
This show should be called... Marvel Agents of S.H.I.T.E!

Because that's what this show is.
Badmuffin - 12/20/2013, 1:20 AM
in the episode there's also the return of Iann Quinn, just sayn'
I think that he'll be a SHIELD student turned to evil, probably no uniform, probably he'll die at the end of the episode or he will disappear...

so...meh...
Humperdink - 12/20/2013, 1:33 AM
"This show should be called... Marvel Agents of S.H.I.T.E!"

Darlene1974 - 12/20/2013, 1:36 AM
Oh as if...lol... The last time they introduced a villain, he didn't even got the chance TO BE A REAL SUPERVILLAN at all anyways.... so what's the bloody point now... One thing is for sure, this TV series will never get to Ten Seasons like SMALLVILLE.... hell, I don't think it'll ever get on par with Arrow TV series...lol...

Humperdink - 12/20/2013, 1:44 AM

Okay, that's not a 'Blizzard'.

That's 'Cloudy With A Chance of Light Snow'.
charlie2094 - 12/20/2013, 1:50 AM
Not really sure about the casting, looks way too young to be their first proper villain, but hopefully this'll improve the show a bit. To be fair though, there's no way AoS could treat Blizzard much worse than Whiplash or the Mandarin, both super underwhelming and disappointing Iron Man villains...

More "past" stuff? We should know most of this already, give us something to actually care about the characters because as they are, they're completely uninteresting cliched characters I don't really care much about, where we should get invested in the characters from the get go...really need to improve on that at least, if they're going to focus on these new characters, then they should at least give us a reason to care which they haven't yet after 10 episodes..

Really hope the show improves, been super disappointed my Marvel this year, between the very mediocre AoS, and disappointing IM3 and Thor 2....hopefully the next couple years - with Avengers, Cap, Guardians the hopefully better and more serious Netflix shows - will be better
MightyZeus - 12/20/2013, 1:51 AM
I wonder if this villain that's being introduced will get a suit? This sort of interests me but i dont know if the writers will do the character justice.
Opt1mu5Pr1m4l - 12/20/2013, 2:09 AM
Seems interesting. The guy has a link to Baron Zemo and the Thunderbolts too. I want to see what happens to that professor who worked on that gravity device in the earlier episode.
mgeoff88 - 12/20/2013, 2:11 AM
I think something got misinterpreted here...

Are we really supposed to believe a 16 year old actor will play an Iron Man villain?

It seems like he would be playing Donald Gill's son or something.
MarkJulian - 12/20/2013, 2:17 AM
If you read the synopsis it says the team is heading to S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy so I'm assuming this guy will be a student. Maybe we're heading to Avengers Academy?
breakneckbeck - 12/20/2013, 2:22 AM
LOL the Blizzard
breakneckbeck - 12/20/2013, 2:23 AM
Really bringin out the big guns eh Marvel?
breakneckbeck - 12/20/2013, 2:25 AM
And with a god dang tweenager baby face to play him just to top it off
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA god damn thats bad...
patrat18 - 12/20/2013, 2:30 AM
LOL. They try so hard.
Badmuffin - 12/20/2013, 2:34 AM
@MarkJulian: I think that the academy will be the same were Mike Peterson is been recruited.

@breakneckbeck: I'm afraid that the "big guns" can't be used for the show. They have a possibile pool of characters very "minor league" 'cause the big ones are required for the movies
TelaVizion - 12/20/2013, 3:28 AM
But he won't be in his Inhuman form like he is in the comics now.

They should introduce the Inhumans in the SHIELD show.
TelaVizion - 12/20/2013, 3:30 AM
Loving this show... Can't wait for it to be out on dvd/blu-ray
TelaVizion - 12/20/2013, 3:32 AM
"Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye’s past"...

Here I thought they knew all about it and was just keeping it from her.
Growup - 12/20/2013, 3:32 AM
"Finally a real supervillain"

They already have graviton and scorch.
DrunkenNukem - 12/20/2013, 4:02 AM
So finally a real villain on AoS...and its played by one of the kids from one direction...no comments..
...and think that marvel fans were bitchin´when CW cast Grant Gustin as Barry...by the way he is great

jimoakley666 - 12/20/2013, 4:02 AM
Cool, bring them on.
Ace101 - 12/20/2013, 4:20 AM
awesome, im loving this show.
NoAssemblyReqd - 12/20/2013, 4:23 AM
AOS so far reminds me of SMALLVILLE's first season. I stopped watching that WB show after 5 episodes, but that thing lasted a decade, so I assume they found their footing eventually.

And to those of you thinking that AoS is in danger of not being renewed for Season 2, TVbytheNumbers.com still has the show among a handful virtually guaranteed to continue in the Fall.
