Victor Scalise must love his job. He is the visual director for The Walking Dead's special effects department and in this new featurette from AMC, he shows us how he and the rest of the team increase the intensity of the show using CGI walkers, landscapes and more.
The zombies were created using motion-capture actors down in Los Angeles so using this method allows them to create a variety of movements to use on different walkers that are computer generated. He also shows us how the infamous prison scene was created.
What did he have to say about Season 3?
"Last season we had a lot of killing...this season we'll have a lot more"
The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series developed for television by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series, The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
The series stars Andrew Lincoln as Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes who wakes up after being in a coma to find the world dominated by "walkers", resembling the zombies of George A. Romero's horror movies. He sets out to find his family and other survivors along the way.
