VIDEO GAMES: 15 Minutes Of Gameplay From MARVEL HEROES

Going to San Diego Comic-Con? Lucky, because you'll be able to play Marvel Heroes early. Check out the video after the jump to see exactly what the public demo has featuring Hulk, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch and Iron Man as playable characters.

Marvel Heroes is the massively multiplayer online game where you get to play as your favorite Marvel Comics super-heroes! Stop criminals in their tracks with Spider-Man's web shooters. Sling Captain America's famous shield into a horde of HYDRA goons. Unleash the lightning of Storm against the anti-mutant Purifiers. Or play fan favorites like Cable, Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, or dozens of others.

In this free-to-play game, you get to experience a world-spanning storyline written by Brian Michael Bendis featuring iconic locations and classic scenes drawn from the history of Marvel Comics.

I don't like the idea of an MMO where you don't play as your own custom character.

this should of had a create hero/villain mode like dc online,but the faults that dc online suffered with should of been sorted out for this game.

He chooses Scarlet Witch to demo...really? Scarlet Witch was your choice out of Hulk, Iron Man, and Wolverine?

I already have this game...its called MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 1&2...thanks but no thanks...dont want to buy it again...way to pull out on sega...at least the games were somewhat trash not complete trash...get it together MARVEL!!!

Gotta say, I'm in agreement with Grif on this one (dafuq?). I mean, it looks like a generic MMO with Marvel characters.

Why the hate? Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and to a lesser extent, Ultimate Alliance 2) were excellent games, which featured a 4 player local co op mind you, something so rare it should be petrified.

Woow! The X-Men mansion, seriously I'm going to have a nerdgasm, this must be what Harry Potter fans feel when exploring Howarts in a HP game LOL.

Seriously people, as someone who have played both Marvel Ultimate alliance games and Diablo I and II this games doesn't look anything like MUA, it certainly feels like a diablo game but with tons of characters and it's also an MMO.

Seriously, It would be worse to play a Marvel game where you can't play as Marvel characters, take in mind that you have the chance to play as any Marvel character you want with one singel account.

@Asterisk yer i agree i want to build my own characters in a game like this.. powers looks ect. as cool as it is to play as wolverine or cap id still prefer a blank character.

The DC Online concept seems pretty awesome. I have X-Box so I can't experience that kind of awesomeness. Yeah, I'd like to create my own character Nd play as him.

I thought "there is no doubt that guy either takes Iron Man or Hulk... or Wolverine" and then he ends up taking the witch... ruined the WHOLE video for me. I skipped through it fast forward to the Hulk part and then to the end.

@ Lax DCUO is pretty cool its not great but it is fun to play..

even better now its free to play if you have a pc you can just download the game and same on ps3 but its better on pc

HOLD UPPP U IRRITATING FANBOYS! first of all, when this game was announced EVERYBODY was saying "OMG i hope its better than DCUO and that i actually get to play the ACTUAL marvel heroes this time." U guys also kept asking for an ultimate alliance 3, well this is very close to it if not better! cmon man, i know its modeled after Diablo but at least they have the makers of diablo ON THIS. even if u guys dont like it, the game is free so stop complaining. This looks amazing for a free game.

It looks like it could be cool. Still I wish the camera was closer to the characters instead of being so Marvel Ultimate Allianceish. More like DC Universe online's camera.

Wish it would be more like this unreleased game. Just an online version of this.

@Superotherside. LOL man that game looks like shit! I see what they were aiming for but they failed miserably. But yeah let's hope someday we get a game with the same idea. Just an open world superhero brawl done right on next gen. Would be sick

Graphics look really really bland. The original Ultimate Alliance had better graphics. The gameplay looks slow and VERY boring. Way to go Marvel another complete wayste of time.

Looks great. It's all free, you can unlock famous costumes like the Avengers movie costumes, and it is what I would call "Ultimate Alliance Online". I know I'll start a clan or guild and make a team of Avengers ingame.

I wish marvel would invest money on making a spiderman game that is taken seriously. I want a game based off a comic and not something they just come up with. For example I want a open world Spidey game that lets you change between Pete and Spidey, and I want it to be set in the 60s based off of The Green Goblins run including the death of Gwen Stacy. Who else thinks it would be cool if you had to be back a certain time before aunt may catches you and you have to make tough desciosons leaving school because of a crime in progress? Big budget spiderman game with free roam top of the line graphics and RPG like qualities.

Who wants to play a marvel or dc game and not be one of the big name characters?

I understand wanting to create your own character, but that's what champions online and city of heroes/villains is for.

I would still prefer another marvel ultimate alliance game, but it is free.

All the idiots that say this is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 are wrong. This is an MMO once there are tons of people playing online this will look very different. I bet you guys will be the first ones on line when it comes out, so stop trolling before you even play, smh.
