Even though Andrew Kreisberg is busy with CW's Arrow, he has revealed that his potential Booster Gold series is far from dead. In the following video interview, he reveals when he is going to hand in the pilot script to SyFy, which elements of Booster we will see from the comics, and who he has met with to discuss the show. How do you feel about this upcoming adaptation?

BOOSTER GOLD IS ONE OF THE BEST SUPER-HEROES. EVER.

Super excited for this. I hope it actually happens. I also hope Arrow is good and does well. Booster Gold is one of my favorite super heros. Just kinda sucks it'll be on SyFy, but where else would a Booster Gold show go? Please at least film the pilot and make it available to watch/buy on dvd.

I'm very excited for this, and glad it's not on the CW. I've been a BG fan since Booster Gold #1 in the 80's and I can't wait to see this on TV. I hope a successful Green Arrow series can "boost" the hype surrounding this show. Go Booster!!!!

I was reading booster gold vol.1 not long ago and really enjoyed it, so I hope they manage to get the show made.

I completely forgot he wrote The Greatest Story Never Told. He certainly has a good grasp on Booster's personality.

Booster Gold is a superhero from the future is tries to be a celebrity in the past (our time).
RSDhillon - 7/13/2012, 6:16 PM
Yeah, hopefully we'll get him and Blue Beetle. And even Guy! Hell, give us the Justice League International!!

I was wondering if we would hear anymore about this. I'm glad it wasn't shelved.

The concept of the character has a lot of appeal. So if SyFy can do Booster Gold justice, it will be a ratings grabber.

very cool. he seems like the guy for the job. the only thing that worries me is syfy's typical production value is not so great. hope it doesn't drag the show down.

People will put anything on TV... even Booster Gold. Wow.
Tainted87 - 7/13/2012, 7:32 PM
Booster Gold would actually be the perfect audience insert lead into a Justice League movie....

DC readers give update on how they don't give a crap.
You suck Booster.
sameoldthing - 7/14/2012, 1:13 AM
C'mon..so many other characters from comics more deserving than Booster Gold for a tv series.
He seems to have little appeal & if the show bombs who will care but if it manages to be good somehow then the show runners turned crap into gold..see what I did there?

this shows DC and Warner dont have a clue and realy need some one with imagination and a realistic outlook.
Booster gold WHY ? ?
carrowsboy - 7/14/2012, 6:29 AM
I'm sure DC will find someway to shove Jaime Reyes down our collective throats...as per usual. They just cannot accept that he is a failure and fans want Ted back.
ClarkFarley2012 - 7/14/2012, 7:15 AM
Who is playing Booster Good again?
cartoonlife - 7/14/2012, 9:17 AM
I think they might be going with Booster b\c he is not as well known so when then enevitably screw up the comic lore not as many of us "fan-boys" will protest.
