ARROW's Jessica de Gouw Teases The Huntress' On-Screen Costume

In a recent interview with KSiteTV on the set of The CW's upcoming crime drama Arrow (based on DC Comics' Green Arrow), Jessica de Gouw teases what Helena Bertinelli's Huntress costume will look like on-screen...

For some time, it's been known that Jessica de Gouw would portray Helena Bertinelli A.K.A The Huntress on The CW's Arrow alongside Stephen Amell. However, we do not know if her costume will be faithful to the comics, as fans have lost faith in televised heroes after Smallville had changed plenty of appearances. However, in an interview with KSiteTV in Vancouver, Jessica gives us a short tease on how she will appear.

"“There are hints of purple in most things. Just a little dab here and there, just to suggest the right things, but it’s definitely part of her costume, certainly."

"“You will see [me in full costume]! It’ll be great, whatever you get to see. It will be fabulous. I promise you. I’ve seen it, so I can promise it’s really something. That’s all you’re getting."

@KingG - Maybe, but the intensity of Helena Bertinelli is not aboout just putting on a scowl over a pretty face. The eyes and features have to convey that in whoever they cast and this girl just doesn't have it..



Taylor Cole however does in abundance especially if you ever seen her in action in The Event! Check it out..

@ceejay, she could be good. Emilia Clarke was fresh out of drama school when she landed the role of Daenerys Targaryen.
but then again that is Game of Thrones and this is CW's show.

aurorasand147 - True but Emilia Clarke had the fresh face of innocence to pull of playing the initially very young (supposed to be in her mid teens) and naive Daenerys Targaryen. All they had left to do was dye her hair!

This girl has a face of innocence for a character that is the total opposite and long kissed goodbye to her teen years! That is unless they're presenting this to another teen audience like Smallville all over again.. meh!

@AlexLynch- I know that they said it will be a more faithful version of Deadshot than what Smallville did to him. But in another interview Marc Guggenheim said Deadshot's comicbook suit is too "flamboyant" and they needed to alter it and make it more "grounded"

It's a CW tv show, need I say more? It's gonna be geared towards the teeny boppers just like every other shit show on the station. Smallville = sucks! Stop wasting money on live action crap and start spending money on better animation like they did with Green Lantern tas and Young Justice.

I'm looking forward to Arrow and seeing all the DC characters they are using in the show. Maybe I don't expect much from the CW, but if Arrow is more like Nikita than Smallville in tone, we may be happily surprised.
