The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is slated for a March 26th 2013 release date, which happens to be sooner than anticipated. Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus provide voice overs for their respective characters. The game's story takes place during the walker outbreak, before the TV series starts out. The Walking Dead returns to TV this February, and you'll be able to pick up the game after the season has finished.

Hopefully this turns out ok, but I doesn't look that good so I'll wait for reviews first. Nothings going to come close to Telltale's Walking Dead game. That was incredible, I even prefer it to the TV show, so this will pale in comparison. Hoping we'll get a Second Season of Telltale's game, that would be something to be excited about :)

Guess, they are ignoring the fan reaction to the preview they release a few weeks ago and are just releasing it as is. Whatever, cheap tie in is cheap.

@TheAlexLynch

Ah thanks! Knew it was being talked about, but didn't know it had actually been confirmed as in development. Great to hear, good tie-ins are hard to come by and Telltales game was beyond great.

Not particularly interested in this, just looks like a cheap, generic fps taking advantage of the success of Daryl/Merle. More Telltale please! :)

There hasn't been much that has been shown about this game which is worrying, this footage is pretty much all there is which isn't really enough to get me excited.

The trailer with Rooker and Reedus would have been better if they had shown actual gameplay, instead they want us to focus on these two which while good, does not give me high hopes for it.

This game LOOKS like a piece of crap. Everything looks like plastic.

Also Norman Reedus looks like one of the Faces of Meth.

I hope this is an online/arcade release because this is not look like it's worthy of a full 59.99 release price.

If GTA V gets the release that Amazon has listed for it, then I'll wait to get this pre owned, other wise if the reviews are decent I'll get this.

As someone who follows game news very closely please DO NOT BUY THIS, it has become the laughing stock of pretty much every gaming site and looks to be merely a cash grab from activision, and a VERY poor one at that. If you need a WD fix check out Telltale's The Walking Dead episodic game, you can download it on PSN, XBLA, or Steam and get physical copies as Gamestop or other retailers and its won all kinds of awards this year.
