ARROW S1 E13 Promo; "Betrayal"

The CW has released this promo to Episode 13 -- "Betrayal" -- although it doesn't feature footage of Manu Bennett as 'Slade Wilson', it does feature footage of Arrow's first original villain, Cyrus Vanch played by David Anders. This episode airs next week!

DAVID ANDERS (“ONCE UPON A TIME,” “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES”) GUEST STARS — Cyrus Vanch (Anders), a nefarious criminal, is recently released from prison and intends to re-secure his position as leader of the underworld. His first step is to take down his biggest opponent in the city – Arrow (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Oliver shows Moira (Susanna Thompson) his father’s notebook and questions her about the names on the list. Thea (Willa Holland) is miserable as she starts her internship with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) at the legal aid office and Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) makes a deadly mistake that puts Laurel in the crosshairs of Vanch. David Ramsey and Colin Donnell also star. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Lana Cho & Beth Schwartz (#113)

The Count was a very odd mix of Ledgers Joker and Tennants Doctor.

I loved how over the top it was, and the episode had a lot of stakes.

meh, Count Vertigo was kinda weak. I really wish the first season was all about the island. Best part of the show.

Love this show. Got some BB nostalgia watching this week's episode. Show gets better every week. Can't wait to own Season One on DVD.

Great episode, but my only problem is that in each episode where he faces a new villain, they die or end up incapacitated by the end of THAT SINGLE EPISODE.
It'd be nice if we go villains that actually posed a threat and had some lasting power.

I was a little bit disappointed with Count Vertigo. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him.

Deathstroke was bad ass! I'm waiting for the episode to see Oliver and him finally fight!

And it was mentioned that Felicity will be have more screen time.

@GUNSMITH I enjoyed her on the show. I hope we see more of her.

Vertigo was too much like Heath Ledger's Joker. Even the musical cues were pretty much the same.
