New Campaign To Save GREEN LANTERN: TAS Has Launched

A new crowdfunding website is close to getting the 100% OK to launch a campaign to bring Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice back from the dead, all it takes is your voting and future funding to make the potential return possible!

Normally, campaigns like this don't bring anything back from the dead. However, with a kickstarter like Veronica Mars: The Movie bringing back huge success because of Warner Bros sanctioning it, it was bound to happen to other projects. If you vote below, Green Lantern: The Animated Series can be crowdfunded to return to air. The sooner fans vote and donate, the sooner we'll find out what happens to Razer, right? To vote for a return, put on your blue lantern ring and just visit SMGO to get started. After the initial voting phase has finished, GLTAS will enter the funding stage. However, since some of the crew have moved on to other projects, this campaign in it's entirety is risky to begin with.

UPDATE: The SMGO.tv owner has informed me that they are close to getting the legal OK. It is NOT confirmed right now. You can still VOTE at this time, however..

Note: In addition to Green Lantern, the site is also holding a campaign for Young Justice.

Haha, you beat me to it I was just going to write an article about it. And @Malatrova the site is also fighting for Young Justice. We all need to get on there, make accounts, and get the necessary 2500 votes (which shouldn't be a problem). This is the first viable chance that we have to get these shows back on air.

@Alex Lynch you should tell people in the article that the site is also fighting to get Young Justice back, and we need to vote for both shows. I think more people will get behind it that way.

Has this ever happened in cartoon history? I'm pretty positive both shows will get renewed, but DC Nation would have to extend their schedule. That Dragon show's season finale is coming close, and Clone Wars isn't airing on CN anymore, i'm pretty sure they can extend DC Nation to 2 hours.

I love this idea for GL and we deserve to see the 'war of light' in motion but all efforts have to be focused towards Young Justice first and foremost!! To see 'The Team' finish with Darkseid/Savage what was started with simply four ice villains with Aqualad back in command at his peak?? 'Nuff said *Bernie Mac voice*

Yeah young justice needs to come back too. Especially with that ending with darkseid. I won't be watching Teen Titans Go and I honestly can't imagine a very large audience for it. I loved the last season of Green Lantern too.

Both are shows that I recently got into watching and both are shows that I don't understand their cancellation. Especially Young Justice, that was one entertaining show.

I'm all for YJ, GL didn't impress me all that much but I'm all about saving YJ. TTG can suck it all day long as far as I'm concerned. You'd think WB would want to keep YJ going since it has the potential to become the new flagship toon for CN since they lost CW. I swear, somebody needs to curb stomp these idiots that make these decisions at WB and CN. Idiots I tell you, idiots that don't deserve the air they breath...

I honestly think this would have a better chance at success if the actual producers of the shows were the ones who tried to clear it with WB/CN. And they should also be the one to start a Kickstarter if they are able to clear it. Fans would be more willing to participate if the people who make the show are leading the charge and they're doing it through a more established site.

Hey family guy was canceled and rose back from the dead, along with futurama thanks to fans and DVD sales....it's not unheard of....although Wolvernie and the Xmen campaigned surged at the beginning and quickly died off.
