I'm glad Tennant's returning, although I hope they don't fall into the trap of making the episode all about his Doctor. Matt Smith is still playing the current Doctor, so the focus should be on him.

Not too excited about Billie Piper returning though. Always found Rose to be an annoying character.

I just hope that Eccleson and McGann are in the story to some extent.. It would be nice to see McGann more as the Doctor over hearing his audio books...

I agree its Rose and the Clone, but should still be fun to see. Could be neat to see how they have changed since being left there. I want the Clone to be evil.

60 minutes and it will have a limited release in the cinema? What's the point in that? At least give it the bare minimum of 90 minutes and put in in cinemas but 60 at cinema prices? Forget it. Oh and I was brought up on Dr Who but this current doctor sucks balls. Can't get behind him and found there was wayyyy to much focus on the companions. The whole River Song storyline I found boring, long winded and was enough to drive me away from the show. That said I will watch it, if Tennant is coming back. Him & Rose were perfectly matched and a joy to watch.

I think the Clone helps to offer perspective. Better then trying to figure all the time issues with a past version.

Yeah, I immediately figured it'll be Rose and the Doctor-Donna Clone in the alternate dimension. Which is just fine with me! Should be fun. Still want to see the 11th Doctor meet Captain Jack though. Been too long waiting for that

Also, if it's going to have any kind of theatrical release, I hope it's longer than 60 minutes. At least do an epic, "End of Time" type of story that runs longer - but 3D Doctor Who does sound like it could be fun!

Anyway, onto waiting for the new episode that airs tonight here in the states...

Haha! Called it! If the 10th Doctor showed up, of course it makes sense that it's the hand-clone.

And while I can understand some of the hate for Rose, it's nice to see her back. :)

for a half century anniversary 60 minutes is way too less. look what they did for ealrier anniversaries. I want an epic multi doctor story. All living ones at least. Wouldn't mind some other actors impersonating the dead ones and have their faces cgi'ed with the original ones.

What about a time war story. We can see the 8th to 9th cotro regen and see how he locked up Galifrey. That could make a worthy 50th anniversary.

We all know that Tennant will be playing the 10th Doctor's clone thats with Rose. I'm pretty sure Jack will pop up and I'd die if Donna and Martha popped in for a cameo scene. All of the old Doctors dont look like they did when they were the Doctor who they can only utilize them in certain capacities. As much as I'd love to see Amy and Rory as well it is still way too soon after their big departure for them to show up again.
