@goodone DCMarvelFreshman! woah, i guess there probably gonna add some CG stuff to the shiled??
drcomicbook - 6/10/2013, 7:29 PM
that's great looks like the red was scratched off. But why is Winter soldier's hand normal.
Humperdink - 6/10/2013, 7:29 PM

Where is the red?

Worn off.

You can see the remnants of the red there.

The shield is allegedly indestructible, the paint however is not.

Perhaps the shield got REALLY beat on during this fight.
ThePresidentGaming - 6/10/2013, 7:31 PM
They're going to match it with the new suit. There's no red in the new suit so it would makes to match it. Black, Blue, and Grey. They're going through new costumes each movie. Change it up a little. Like Iron Man's suits.

But why does the red look worn off if this was intentionally supposed to be blue?

You can still see the red paint there.

My guess is that it wore off during the fight or it's an old practice shield they're using.
DrRockit13 - 6/10/2013, 7:33 PM
@TheApproach254 what story is that from?
exe - 6/10/2013, 7:33 PM
There is red on the shield you fools. How can you not see it?
DrDoom - 6/10/2013, 7:35 PM
The shield's design is the same, the paint is just worn/battered.
Humperdink - 6/10/2013, 7:36 PM
@ThePresidentGaming

Although that would be cool, I doubt they're doing the 'energy shield' thing.
Joe6Pack74 - 6/10/2013, 7:37 PM
So 'Old Navy' is doing product placement in this movie?
MrCBM56 - 6/10/2013, 7:38 PM
Guys don't get worried. It looks so bland because it probably has debris, dust, and other materials On it. It can't be all shiny all the time.
CharacterAssassin - 6/10/2013, 7:40 PM
Chris is just too lean for CA. He needs to fatten up or something.
EpitomeofAwesome - 6/10/2013, 7:42 PM

GizmoEl - 6/10/2013, 7:44 PM
I love that we'll finally get to see Cap with some super strength again. He was pretty action light in Avengers
Ocelot - 6/10/2013, 7:46 PM
@GizmoEl

He'll get nerfed again in The Avengers 2
TheApproach253 - 6/10/2013, 7:47 PM
i know they wont do the energy shield but yeah

The shield is just f***ed up. It's not a new paint job you idiots.
Praetorian - 6/10/2013, 8:00 PM
Why are Sebastian Stan's fingers not silver on his bionic arm?
thewonderer - 6/10/2013, 8:00 PM
WHERES THE KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ARTICLE!?
vonstallin - 6/10/2013, 8:00 PM
I wonder.....if for this mission he painted the red blue and during the fight the blue start to come off to reveal the red? just the opposite of what we might think.
Praetorian - 6/10/2013, 8:01 PM
In fact is there any evidence that this is in fact Sebastian Stan?
Humperdink - 6/10/2013, 8:02 PM
Wow, people came to this thread with their brains turned off. It's not a new shield or paint...

In the first photo it IS the paint that is worn off.
It is clearly worn off.

In the other photo it is dirty on the shield.

Brain no turned off.
Me am seeing two different photopix
U am looking at only 1.
HAILHYDRA - 6/10/2013, 8:06 PM

vondoom29 - 6/10/2013, 8:18 PM
drcomicbook has amazing point wtf is his hand normal? they going all robot cop on a muh fugga? i get that comics have to evolve with the readers but it seems like too much too fast. im semi ok with the new costume but i wish theyd slow down a little bit. i get that cap cant go around all spangely and what not but i mean come on. comic book movies are beginning to change comics when it should be the other way around. i've always really enjoyed t.f.a. i think Chris Evans did one helluva job as steve rogers, i just hope they keep it treal with all these new movies comin out.
