Can't wait for Dr.Strange to be officially announced. Hopefully they'll also follow a defenders path, so we can get more Hulk and maybe Valkyrie and Namor

I wonder when the last time Dr. Strange led comic sales.... marvel(Disney) thinks that all of these characters can produce what Iron man did and they will find out the hard way that's just not true

This sounds great. I couldn't see how Dr Strange fit into the grand scheme of things, but going traveling through time and dimensions to weave the MCU more together is a great way to portray the character.

Never been interested in this character,then again I was never interested in iron man until the films,but just imo I dont see this character being well received by non regular movie goers and non comic book readers,but you lot say hes a good character so I will reserve judgment

@KAC: How? Ant-Man has what? Two villains? I'm still struggling with how they can pick a villain that isn't Ultron to be the villain in Ant-Man, unless they decide to use Ultron in Ant-Man and not in an Avengers movie.

Doctor Strange is a much more interesting character with good villains and I would love for him to be the next hub character for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Well now, this does sound enticing. Very interesting. I wonder what, if at all, this says about their general direction for Phase 3 and beyond? So far it's been relegated to the mainstay Avengers, with some expansion with Guardians of the Galaxy. Could we be seeing a far more mystical and cosmic MCU in a few years, one a little more removed from Earthly superheroics?

Wow, great! Strange really has this "keymaker" characteristic, he's a problem-solver in the MU who the other characters look for.

Haters gonna hate. IM wasn't much of a known character and look at him now. Some of you are stuck in the 80's with the superfriends cartoon being the superhero reference for all.

While I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange why not Captain America as the new glue. I mean the TWS is already setup to be like the unofficial sequel to The Avengers. But this does stress the point that Marvel needs to do everything in their power to try and get Spider-Man back from Sony. Unfortunately Sony is going to milk that cow until it's a dusty husk.

You don't just create a new RDJ-Stark. You have to be a little bit lucky and audiences need to be receptive to it. I don't see Strange as that kind of character. I, along with many others, saw the RDJ-Stark explosion coming. This one... I'll wait to see it before I believe it.

Captain America is the greatest Avenger and no one gives to shits about him, just Iron Man :(



He even has the best solo movie in the MCU. Ah well, Doctor Strange is going to at least get the spotlight. The more supernatural and mystic side of Marvel clearly showing from Phase 3 and on, I wonder if we will see Ghost Rider down the line.



They've encounter each other before. Love to see it on screen.

I am honestly tired of hearing about Avengers 3 and phase 3.

Alright we understand it's a huge business but I would like to see Marvel slow down with there future plans announcement.

Super Heroes overdose in the near future could happen really fast with this type of behaviour.

It is Marvel responsability to keep the CBM movie exciting. We need to stop announcement about Avengers 3, that's really annoying to hear about the sequel of a movie that even not exist.

Keep going with good comicbook adaptation without boring the audiences will be the next challenge for Marvel ( and DC ).

I really hope this will not happen before Dr Strange because I want to see this badass on a movie.

PS : I'm not a Troll, I like both Marvel and DC adaptation, I kind of liked Iron Man 3 and so loved Man of Steel, I just want less arrogancy from Marvel and want comicbook movie era to never end.

Do feel a bit sad for the D.C. fans.

@Splenda: that would be the right choice. Enough humor and box office clout.

Interesting that some on here think Dr. Strange won't sell...the movie will be directed to a generation raised on Harry Potter, many of whom will be getting high in college dorms when this movie comes out. These ingredients add up to ticket sales for a Dr. Strange movie, I would think.

Doctor Strange sounds awesome! Almost as cool as Ant-Man. Never read many of the comics and I've never been a huge fan of the character, but I can't wait for the movie.

I personally do not think it will be as successful as Ironman because Dr Strange is not as popular as IM, and take consideration that IM was not a big time comic book character either.

Though if they set it up right they can grow the franchise to link up into the Defenders which would be awesome! I am sure Marvel/Disney already have it planned it out.
